Based on my experience with HeatCo, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their service to anyone needing professional gas installation or servicing. We had a complicated non-standard situation in a Victorian home with two combi boilers and multiple other gas appliances running off a commercial meter. Heatco advised us that we needed the services of an authorised commercial gas engineer. From the initial survey by Grant, to follow-up investigations by Kevin and their Commercial Engineer, they could not have been more thorough in making sure that the job was properly specified and carried out safely and to a high standard of workmanship. Also, they were very helpful in explaining the rationale of all their suggestions and what was necessary. I have a high degree of confidence that all has been done to the highest of standards. I am delighted with the job they have done for me which includes a new Combi-boiler, upgraded gas supply piping and a new radiator. Many thanks to James for most of the fitting backed up by the rest of the team. I appreciate you putting back flooring, cabinets and radiator covers as they had been before. All staff were a credit to their company and a pleasure to have in the house. We will be needing some further upgrades to our other gas appliances in future and HeatCo will be my first port of call.
Great company from the very first contact had a visit from grant to give me a quotation no pressure to buy just a real honest opinion few days later I made contact to see when I could have the boiler installed one week later it’s in and working great the guy tha fitted it did a great tidy job. My boiler was giving up so needed to get a new one urgently. I sent an enquiry online on a Friday evening hoping to get a response early following week, but got a call from Kevin on Sunday evening and an appointment for somebody to come around first thing Monday morning. Grant called prior to the appointment and arrived on time, checked everything and gave a printed quote in no time. The details were all covered as well as a very reasonable price. The earliest date they could offer was Friday the same week but Grant assured me they would try to accommodate me earlier if possible. Grant called on Tuesday evening and confirmed they could install the new boiler on Thursday, and that their person would call before arriving. James called before arriving on Thursday morning and arrived on time. The wall behind the boiler was in quite a state - only obvious once there boiler was removed. To make it stable and tidy it up, James put up a ply to cover the wall and then installed the new boiler. James checked all gas points, radiators and alarms before signing off. He also provided an additional carbon monoxide alarm. The work was completed in good time and is one of the tidiest installation I’ve seen - from the fixtures to the pipes. I was also not charged any additional costs for the ply or the carbon monoxide alarm. Overall, great service and brilliant communications. I would highly recommend the team at HeatCo for boiler installations. Thank you Kevin, Grant and James.
After my 18 year old boiler packed in I looked for a highly rated local company and found HeatCo. I put the quote request into the website, Kevin called not long after and arranged to come out the next day to take a look. We agreed a price, sorted finance and a date. Finance was competitive and straightforward and I changed the term to suit my teams. The HeatCo team turned up on time for my install. Really friendly, worked quickly, tested everything and tidied up at the end. I got a demo on how to work the new Glow Work boiler and the new Hive before he headed off. The following week the pressure on the boiler dropped and I found a leak in an upstairs radiator. This leak was unrelated to the work HeatCo had done but Kevin arranged someone to come out and they were able to repair it quickly, everything is running great again. Top notch service, really professional staff and I’m delighted with the products installed. Highly recommended local company.
Heat & Co Scotland Ltd. has saved us a lot of money in comparison with another company when Kevin gave us a quote and James installed our combi boiler in just a day without any issues. Everything was easy and everything was organised by them and within a week of taking my order I had my new boiler installed by end of May 2025. Top notch customer service and installation and they took my old boiler away as well. Once a year they will come to service my new boiler so no need to pay to anyone any extra long term monthly charges. Thank you so much guys so much appreciated everything and even our budgies has approved the boiler.
