Been with Heatwave for a very long time, maybe 25 years. Then installed my 1st furnace when I switched from electric heat (80's) to propane then a new furnace when I finally was able to use natural gas. They have been outstanding in every single way you could expect or imagine. Jake is the best service guy, he's thoughtful, helpful and takes his time to explain what issue you are experiencing until you fully understand it. Not condescending at all, just a great guy with great people skills. Melinda in the office is also sweet and extremely helpful in getting a quick handle of what you need and schedules appointments within a few hours to perhaps a day or two out depending on your needs/schedule. I promise you will not be disappointed with Heatwave.
Brian from sales was great to deal with. We got everything we wanted at a fantastic price. Jake and Matt did an amazing job with the install and explaining the everything. It was a very good experience. I will definitely recommend Heatwave to my friends and family.
I contacted Heatwave due to my boiler breaking. I have used them in the past and they have always been great! They gave me a price that was $3,000 less than everyone else. Installation was pretty quick. It was done in one day and the workers were great! Unfortunately I do have one frustration. About 3 hours after the installation there was no heat in our kids rooms. I called the after hours line and spoke to a woman who was "on call". She told me that it would take her at least 2 hours to get to my house because she was at dinner with her daughter (maybe don't schedule a dinner the day you're on call?). She also said it would cost me $200 just to come out. 3 hours after they just installed the boiler, no way. I was not impressed with her. Fortunately, our salesman Barry came and saved the day! I had no idea that he was coming over, but was so glad to see him at 8 pm! He got it fixed up and heat was pumping in all rooms in less than an hour! Outside of the on call technician, everything with heatwave went very well. I plan on using them again in the future!
Had to call Heatwave at 3am for help. The person answering was very helpful. I couldn’t believe it when she said a tech would be out sometime during business hours. It was such a relief. I got a call at 7:30am to let me know someone would be at my house in approximately 2hours. This was during Winter Storm and Severe Weather Warnings and temperatures around 6degrees! The time when everyone’s furnace dies. The tech came out and was very thorough. Said he wasn’t making recommendations until he was certain of the problem. His troubleshooting identified more than one problem but at first not the issue that made my furnace unable to heat my house. But he worked it out and showed me exactly where he found problems. I had to get a new furnace and new AC equipment was recommended by the manager. The new furnace will be put in one day after original call. Tech offered space heaters to help get me through. The office people were very efficient and assisted me with financing. All-in-all I am very pleased.
In calling around for quotes for a new furnace for my mom Heatwave was the only one who came exactly as they said they would. The salesman/tech was very thorough, very nice and answered all questions. The technician was on time, very nice, considerate and explained everything. My husband was a large pump repairman himself and was very impressed with how efficiently and meticulously Jake did the work. We are very impressed and plan on using them this summer to install anew energy efficient furnace for us as well.
