I’ve been coming here since 2020. I’ve brought a graduation jumpsuit for length shortening, jeans for waist tightening, & suit jackets for sleeve shortening. My clothes have turned out perfect every single time. The customer service, service time, & pricing is always great. I haven’t needed another tailor since I found this place. If you need your clothes altered in any way, this is the place to go. Support small & local businesses!
I’m so glad this business is here in Lexington! As someone who is very short, I often need alterations for most of the clothes I buy, and they’ve consistently delivered excellent results. I’ve gone to them multiple times, and every experience has been fantastic. Most recently, they altered a dress for a wedding, and the attention to detail was outstanding. They truly put their customers first and are professional, honest, and skilled. They’ve completely won me over—I won’t be going anywhere else for alterations while I’m in Lexington. Highly recommend if you need quality tailoring!

When I was searching for someone to do alterations on my dress, Hems & Such was the one that came up with the highest stars and reviews so I decided to try them out. They did such a good job taking in my dress just enough to hold me in but not be too tight. They took their time and made sure it was done correctly. I appreciated the little details they suggested on making it the best fit possible. My dress was done in a timely manner and at a great price. I highly recommend using them for any alteration needs! There is a reason they have been in business since 1990, they are good! Go here if you want it done right! Take the stress out of fitting in the dress, they will make it perfect! Will be back with other items in the future!
What a gem of a business. I needed a suit altered last minute for a wedding. They were the only business in town who agreed to do it. They were backed up and busy, but made it work for me. I'm very appreciate for what they were able to do, even when they didn't have to.. They genuinely care about getting the customer what they need and by when they need it. They were so easy to connect with and always kept me updated. Not only were they fast, they did an excellent job with my alterations. Thank you all again and I'll definitely be using you all again in the future!
