10/10! A group of friends and I rented Popeye for my 35th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The crew was so accommodating and flexible. Everyone had a great time and the views were insane. From the Statue of Liberty to the Bk Bridge, the views were incredible. We even got lucky with some impromptu fireworks! Truly a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone who is trying to make the most of the area. Thank you to Adam who was the most patient and flexible host. Can’t wait to do it again!
I spent months researching options for my boyfriend’s 30th surprise party and finally came across Hoboken Boat Charters—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I reached out, Adam was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to help make the surprise possible. This past Saturday was the big night, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The crew was incredible from start to finish, the boat was the perfect size for our group of 20, and the views were breathtaking. Everyone kept telling me how much fun they had and what a unique, unforgettable night it was. I can’t thank Adam and his crew enough for making my boyfriend’s 30th birthday so special. If you’re planning an event, I highly recommend Hoboken Boat Charters — you won’t be disappointed!
It was an amazing experience! The entire crew was incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure our drinks were topped up. We enjoyed our own music, watched the sunset, and admired the evening view of New York. An unforgettable atmosphere and beautiful memories of this summer!
One of the best outings in the NYC area and I've lived in Hoboken for 22 years. Our sunset cruise in June from 7pm - 9pm on Calypso was an absolute delight. We were two families with 3 teenagers for each family and it was just magical to be out on this modern boat with plenty of room to chill and be motored around by Captain Adam. The best part is just taking in the view of the Manhattan skyline and chilling right at the base of the Statue of Liberty followed by a slow cruise up the East River. And it's BYOB with your own music playing so lots of fun. The perfect thing to do if you have guests from out of town. The price is right.
Adam and crew were AMAZING! Sunset cruise for a sweet 16 birthday party with 19, yes, 19 teenage girls, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly (sorry for all the hair Adam 😀). Quick departure from Pier 13 in Hoboken, down to Statue of Liberty in time for sunset, cruised by Governor’s Island, up the East River past the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges, then back down to the tip of Manhattan and up the Hudson. It was a gorgeous mid-September evening: warm with a cool breeze but not chilly. Incredibly smooth sailing, great open deck for dancing, singing and hanging out, great sound system and lights! We decorated ahead of time and had small snacks / drinks, but there was plenty of room to do much more if we had wanted to. The pictures don’t do it justice - this was incredible. Adam and the team are super flexible and accommodating but best of all they’re just fun to hang out with! Highly recommended.
