We rented 3 beach cruisers for 90 minutes and found that to be a perfect amount of time. They were very courteous about making sure we had the right sized bikes. Getting out is a chore as there are a lot of pedestrian’s on the sidewalk. That said, $45 for all 3 bikes for 90 minutes. I’ve been renting from here for over 20 years.
Disappointing experience due to false information – wasted time and unnecessary effort. We first visited a Holland Bicycle shop to ask about Super73 bikes. We were told that they’re normally allowed from age 16, but that you can ride them at 14 with parental permission/signature. Based on that info, we walked 2 km to the rental location. Once we got there, they told us that you cannot rent or ride Super73 or other throttle e-bikes at all under 16, even with parental consent. No options, no flexibility – just a straight no. It was a complete waste of time and energy because we were given wrong information at the first shop. If you’re offering these kinds of products, it’s really important to know the actual legal rules and communicate them clearly. The outside was dirty with broken bicycle. Also the bathroom was extremely dirty. Bottom line: Not a good experience. Don’t rely on the information they give you – it might not be accurate.
We just walked up for a 3 hour rental without a reservation. Staff were friendly and helpful. You scan a waiver. Then they give you the bikes with a basket and lock. The lock code is on the receipt, as is their contact info for any issues. We did the complete loop around Coronado. Stopped at park for basket lunch. They also offer electric bikes. Rental by hour, three hours or full day.
I bought my trek alr5 and numerous accessories here. They have a large selection and they make me feel welcome every time I visit. Great bike shop
This is a great place to rent a bike in Coronado* they have many options to pick from. Great staff that are friendly and efficient. You can take the recommended route under th Coronado Bridge. You may even bike all the way to the end of Silver Strand and back. It was quite a relaxing, enjoyable, scenic ride. Magnificent views of the ocean and Coronado are just breathtaking.
