I was shopping for my partner and had the most positive experience at Honeysuckle Store! As a young guy walking into a shop that’s definitely not my usual kind of store, I was made to feel so welcome. I found some lovely gifts — a luxury bath bomb, a special mug, and a beautiful book about love. The lady at the counter (I didn’t catch her name, sorry!) went above and beyond — she wrapped five of the gifts for just a gold coin donation. I honestly told her to charge me more because she did such an amazing job and took so much care with each one. It’s rare to find such genuine, kind customer service these days, so I wanted to make sure I left a positive review. Thanks again for such a great in-store experience.

I recently visited the new Honeysuckle store, now located on the main strip at Southport Market. It’s a beautifully curated store, however the markup on their items is absolutely ludicrous. I picked up a toy and, out of curiosity, Googled it—only to find it was being sold for a third of the price on several other sites. To make matters worse, I had my tiny baby in a travel pram, and while he was a bit talkative nothing disruptive, I felt incredibly judged for having him with me. It felt like my presence was unwelcome, especially from who I assume was the owner—a woman with brown hair walking around the store. I got the distinct impression that my baby and pram were seen as a nuisance, which, as a new mum when I already have anxiety leaving the house, was awful. I had planned to buy several Christmas gifts, but the price gouging and unwelcoming atmosphere drove me to shop elsewhere. It’s such a shame because the store itself is lovely, but I won’t be returning.
What a beautiful boutique, full of gorgeous goodies. I went in for some specialty non-toxic, aussie made sunscreen (“We are Feel good Inc.” - very smooth, non greasey, best natural sunscreen we’ve tried) - and I came out with some beautiful little extras for Xmas gifting. The lady was very helpful and friendly. A beautiful store :)
Wow! This is the most beautiful store with gorgeous products and gifts. The staff were so attentive, which was wonderfully helpful when I was choosing a gift for a notoriously difficult family member. The salts and books were an absolute hit and Jenni managed to find me the most perfect clothes for myself. I highly recommend this store for both the quality items and fabulous customer service.
