Emma is AMAZING. She took the time to explain everything so clearly, helped me find solutions to access multiple facilities while I travel for work, and was incredibly kind and positive the whole time. Such a great experience: 100% recommend!
I previously had a membership but due to health reasons I froze my account several times until I finally decided to cancel, since I won’t be able to use the services anymore. I reached out by phone to make the cancellation so that I wouldn’t be charged another month, and had a credit for one month in my account. They never cancelled my membership and so far is already trying to charge two additional months and not give me the credit so 3 months total. I have requested several times to fix this issue and to cancel so that the system stops trying to charge my bank and all I get from the manager is that the owners will get in touch with me. Just cancel as requested it, shouldn’t be that hard, I have provided proof of me calling to cancel which they won’t take and that’s their excuse for not doing it and continue to charge and they have also not applied the credit I had towards the balance which should cover since I called in November to cancel! Very unprofessional and shady!
This is what I pay a membership for? A expensive one at that to go into a feces covered restroom. I am so disgusted and will not be returning to a facility that puts its customers at risk such as this one shown. Refund me!!!
I joined Hotworx – Las Colinas location about 8 months ago. At the time of sign-up, I was clearly told that I could cancel anytime and that there were no issues with cancellation. Based on that information, I joined. After just two months, I decided to cancel, and that’s when the story completely changed. I was suddenly told that there is a minimum 6-month commitment, which was never mentioned during enrollment. Had this been disclosed upfront, I would have made a different decision. Later, when I checked Google reviews (which I regret not doing earlier), I realized I was not the only one this had happened to. Several others faced the same issue where cancellation terms were conveniently not explained. Since I had no option, I continued until the 6 months were completed. When I called to cancel after that, I was told that I could only cancel in person and only when the manager was available. Again, this requirement was never mentioned while signing up. Due to personal reasons, I couldn’t go immediately and ended up dragging it for another two months. When I called again, the person who answered casually told me that I could actually cancel online in under a minute and sent me the steps by text. This made me feel completely cheated. The rules seem to change based on what benefits them at the moment. What frustrates me most is the lack of transparency and inconsistent information. If you’re planning to join, please be extremely careful. Get everything in writing, record conversations if needed, and read the reviews beforehand. I personally do not recommend this location.
The studio is always clean and well-maintained. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this location.
