Hurricane Jiu Jitsu offre une formation de Jiu-Jitsu brésilien de premier plan à Cleveland sous la direction du Professeur John Lawrence. L’établissement dispose d’un grand espace de tatami, de gradins, d’un espace lounge, de vestiaires, de toilettes avec douches et d’un lave-linge/sèche-linge. Décrit comme un établissement propre, professionnel, accueillant et à la pointe de la technologie, il accueille les débutants, les passionnés et les compétiteurs. Les cours pour enfants ont lieu quatre soirs par semaine.

Best in the Cleveland area. Are you interested in competition bjj, self defense or a good workout? I would highly recommend Hurricane Jiu Jitsu. Very professional, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, and to be honest REAL. Owner/Professor will tell you how it is, what to expect, and how to improve/grow your skills. He’s not giving away belts or stripes just because. They are earned it with blood, sweat and TEARS! Literally! Want to train, Hurricane Bjj is welcoming and everyone is so friendly. It’s a state of the art facility and the head instructor John Lawrence and another instructor’s are high level competing athlete’s. He rolls with the student’s and give them great pointers how to improve.
Awesome place to train! My fiancé and I were visiting from New Orleans and loved it. Massive mat space, great instructors and training partners. They have a fantastic women’s group as well. Would train here again. Thanks Professor John!
I had the distinct pleasure of doing a early morning drop-in training session at Hurricane Jiu Jitsu under Professor John Lawrence while I was in Cleveland visiting family and it was such a fun time! Professor John was very quick to respond when I texted and was so very welcoming. Let it be known to all that Professor John is the Real Deal and has the receipts to prove it. Before my drop-in, I was able to see Professor John in action at IBJJF Chicago and it was a sight to behold as his expression of his art was so smooth, technical, and effortless against competitors at the highest level. The academy has a very warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. The academy is very clean, has a huge mat space, bleachers for viewing the action, lounge area, changing rooms, bathrooms with shower, and a washer and dryer. The walls are adorned with competition medals, competition canvas pictures, and the black belt lineage under Professor John which was a very nice and intimate touch. The rolls were technical, lively, and very enjoyable. Whether you are brand new looking to experience BJJ for the first time, a hobbyist who is in it for exercise and for the love of the game, or a seasoned competitor with dreams of gold medals, then Hurricane Jiu Jitsu is the place to be! So If you are looking for a great place to train under the tutelage of an exceptional Professor that knows what it takes to be the best, look no further than Hurricane Jiu Jitsu!!!
I was recently in Cleavland to visit family. Hurricane BJJ's Friday morning class was recommended. I went and it did not disappoint. I had a tough and talented traing partner Matt, who was a great to work with. Instructor John ran a very upbeat and competitive training session. Great gym and environment, thanks for the training!
Hurricane JJ has a fantastic group of instructors and competitors. My 8 year old has been attending for 3 years and he has had so much growth and improvement with the guidance of this group. Kids classes offered 4 nights a week makes it easier to fit into our busy schedule. Highly recommend for kids!
