I really enjoyed my experience at I Spa. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and there were lots of different options to enjoy, which made it feel like a place you could truly spend several hours relaxing. I also appreciated that there’s an on-site restaurant—the food was pretty good and convenient. The main reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the service. Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk and the food court were not very friendly, which took away a bit from an otherwise enjoyable experience. With warmer customer service, this place would easily be a 5-star spa for me.
This was my first time visiting ISPA, and for me, it truly felt like a taste of home. I came to the United States for work and had been living a routine of taking showers every day in my apartment. In Japan, it’s common to fill a bathtub with hot water and warm your body from the inside out, but in the U.S., I hadn’t really been able to enjoy soaking in a bathtub properly. That’s when I discovered ISPA. The facility was spacious and well maintained, and at least during the time I was there, other guests were very considerate, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. In particular, soaking in the warm pool and feeling my body warm up from the core was incredibly soothing. In addition to the cold pool, there were pools at very comfortable temperatures, as well as a dry sauna and a mist sauna with temperatures similar to those of public bathhouses in Japan. I had an extremely relaxing and pleasant time. Thank you so much.
Wow this place is AMAZING and clean. I got the body scrub and it was awesome. Your skin will feel super soft afterwards! When you step into the restaurant the smell of the delicious food hits you. I was pleasantly surprised that all the food that we got was perfect. All the common area rooms were fun to try out. Husband and I were totally relaxed and rejuvenated after this experience. 10/10 would recommend.
This was my first time at a Korean spa but it certainly won’t be my last! I went here for my birthday and enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were very friendly and explained things well. They even let me go into the locker room to see if the locker was big enough to fit my duffel bag into before I logged it from the car. I just wish I would have had some friends to bring along as I was a bit lonely at times. I recommend going on a weekday before 5pm. It gets crowded in the spa area and the towels become scarce once people get off of work. Picture a half dozen guys all standing around naked waiting for the next towel delivery. I’ve never experienced a fully nude spa so it took a brief acclimation period but thankfully everyone was so friendly and comfortable that I got used to it very quickly. The dry and steam saunas are brutally hot so just be sure not to pass out like I almost did. I also booked an acupressure and Swedish oil combination massage which were done very well. Be ready to provide a tip at the end! All of the areas were very clean, organized and modern. They offer soap, shampoo, conditioner, disposable razors and toothbrushes and an assortment of toiletries in the spa area. The clientele are very diverse as there were people of all ages and races which was refreshing to see. The jimjilbang common areas are very quiet and conducive for resting. They have an ondol, fire, forest, salt and ice room. They also provide comfortable uniforms to change into as it is coed there. Be sure to only have food and drinks in the cafe area! I had the Sikhye. It was such a relaxing experience that I found myself dozing off several times. They offer a lot for the $35 entrance fee (waived if you book one of the more expensive massages) I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!
