I keep calling to transfer my RRSP to an FHSA, and every advisor I speak with at iA gives me a different explanation of the process. Every time I call, I’m told something new. It really shows that there is a lack of proper training at iA, and no one seems to follow the same procedure unless they’ve learned it from previous customers who have already had to call customer support a dozen times. I made the exact same request with Desjardins and it was resolved within one hour. With iA, it’s taking forever. Nobody seems to care, and no one has complete, accurate information to actually help. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Terrible customer service. I've called 6 times to resolve an issue non of the agents have the capacity to fix it, they can't or wont transfer me to a supervisor, all of them offer to have a manager call me back, its been 2 months and no one has called me back. An agent put me on hold today for 30min then just hung up. I will go out of my way to tell anyone one and everyone to get insurance or any financial products somewhere else.
I got a new job and wanted to withdraw my holding in my old RRSP plan. I actually put it off for months as I assumed it would be super difficult. Patrick was a great help and had it all handled with literally 5 minutes. Deducted 1 star as it was supposed to be direct deposited but they sent VIA mail but not the end of the world
They are literally making my blood boil. Can't deal with them no more as its like talking to a 1 year old infant trying to make him/her solve a simple 1+1 mathematical question. Humanity is doomed with this kind of service. What have I done to deserve this!
