Gareth previously designed a beautiful aquamarine and diamond pendant for me, and this visit was for a small 16th birthday gift for my granddaughter. On both occasions Gareth made me feel as tho I were the most important client of his day, and the skill and attention to detail given to each project was second to none. Added to this is a very competitive price point, and friendly personal service. A joy to deal with.

Received first class service from Gareth today. After struggling to find someone to do an evaluation, Gareth was able to do this for me within a few hours at a reasonable price. In fact, we'd only left the shop an hour ago when the valuation pinged into my inbox! Not only that, he was able to take some details right away so that I didn't need to leave my item with them. We also had a lovely chat with him too, what a lovely man :) Will definitely be back if I need any other services.
We cannot recommend Mundie & Son enough for all the support and advice on the lead up to our wedding day. Following an unfortunate experience with an another jeweller, we were both completely disheartened when we realised our engagement ring wasn’t as perfect as we had initially thought. We were recommended to speak to Gareth at Mundie & Son for some expert advice on rectifying our problems. From the moment meeting Gareth we felt so comfortable in his company, it was so evident the knowledge and expertise that Gareth possesses. Gareth allowed us to be honest about our current ongoing experience with our initial engagement ring, while providing the utmost professional opinion. We cannot count the amount of time Gareth gave to us, advising our next steps and options. In the end, we had decided that we had more confidence in Gareth’s professionalism & background to allow us to start completely from scratch and begin the journey to chose a new engagement ring with Mundie & Son. At no point did we feel any of our questions or requests were too much for Gareth, he always felt like someone we could rely on to provide us such a professional expert opinion on jewellery. From the minute we had decided to embark on choosing a new engagement ring with Mundie & Son, all of our anxieties from our previous experience were immediately diminished as we knew we could trust and rely on Gareth. We were able to choose a ring which was perfect for us, the timely manner in which Gareth was able to provide the ring, resize & have polished perfect for our big day was a complete contrast to our previous jewellers experience. From this we both knew that we would be asking Gareth to provide our wedding rings also. As Gareth had spent so much time getting to know us, and building such a rapport he was able to perfectly recommend options for our wedding rings. After our initial experience & finding Gareth, we cannot imagine both our engagement & wedding rings to be any different now! Gareth has taken the time to know us, and know what we would both be looking for & suit with regards to rings. The experience we had with Gareth at Mundie & Son was absolutely second to none. We would highly recommend Mundie & Son to anyone considering purchasing special jewellery. We both know that our chosen rings will last a lifetime and we have complete trust in the quality and service we have bee provided with and will definitely back to see Gareth in the future.
