Had an awesome experience at Iconic Tattoo. Scheduling was painless, the shop is very neat, clean, and comfortable, and Steve did great work! I highly recommend Iconic Tattoo. If I wasn't from out of town, this would be my go to shop!!
Earlobes, daughter. Forget the gunshops. This is the greatest and best piercing parlor in the world. Tribute. The owner responses to 1 star reviews is what brought us in. Highly responsible. They speak for themselves. Front desk is strict with bookkeeping. Three or more times the standard operating procedures were explained. On the initial consult (telephone), at the front desk and on the paperwork, and again, with the child, at the time of the procedure. Clean, clean, clean. Most Excellent!!! Nicest people all around. Rich and the front of house staff are diamonds in the rough. Who could ask for anything more? The best there is in the business hands down.
An all around amazing experience! My 8 year old daughter had her earlobes pierced and was very nervous, but Rich was so great with her. He was very patient, calm, didn’t rush her. He let her know that she didn’t have to feel forced to go through with it, and walked her gently through each step. Everything was spotlessly clean and exactly as expected for a reputable tattoo/piercing studio. Plus both staff there were super sweet! You should definitely come here for all your piercing needs. (Photo taken seconds after first piercing was done- super calm and very happy!)
Rich is absolutely fantastic! I first went to him when I was 15 with my mom to get pierced and he was incredible. Prior to going to him I had my first lobes pierced at Claire's and had gone to a different piercer for a 2nd lobe and a helix. The other piercer was terrible and was a very bad experience, so I was hesitant to try to get pierced again. It is now 3 years later and I now have 18 piercings (or rather piercing holes, since I am counting each of my industrials as 2), 7 of which have been pierced by Rich. Rich has pierced my helix, tragus, daith, modified industrial, and custom vertical industrial. When I went to get my industrial done, I sadly didn't have the anatomy for it, but Rich was able to create a modified industrial (helix stud to upper helix industrial bar)! He explained exactly what he was doing and made me and my mom feel very comfortable. He was also very thorough in the aftercare instructions and 2 years later I am proud to say that my industrial is fully healed with no complications :) I got my modified industrial on my 16th birthday and my grandma came with me as well because she wanted to get her helix pierced. She was super nervous, but Rich also made sure she was fully comfortable and okay during the whole process! As the years have passed I have found myself sadly trying to go get my ears pierced at other shops (including Claire's like stores :( that use piercing guns) and every single time I have tried to go anywhere besides Rich something ALWAYS goes wrong and I have learned my lesson many times. I have had rude piercers, piercers who aren't qualified (one even left a scar because he didn't pop a dermal in correctly and I had to go back the next day), and of course Claire's like stores that use piercing guns that have left me having to use pliers to get an earring out because it sunk into my ear :( Just because piercing gun piercings are cheaper does not make them better! Rich uses quality piercing equipment and is highly certified and has never done me wrong like other piercers and has even helped me when a different piercer messed something up and I needed advice. Sadly I am at college now and iconic is so far away so I have had to experiment with other piercers which have led to the terrible experiences I have had. For my 18th birthday I even went in to get a custom vertical industrial (rook to conch) and Rich stayed later than my appointment was for to make sure that I left super happy with my experience and piercing! The following day he even emailed my mom to ask if I was okay because the piercing was so complex and could have easily gotten painful piercing bumps and he wanted to make sure I was okay and didn't need assistance with the piercing before he went out of town for the weekend. I mean what more could you ask for in a piercer?!?! If you are reading this you need to go see Rich to go get ur piercing. He is absolutely incredible and you won't be disappointed and will leave super happy with your experience. We went to see Mr Rich for my daughter’s sixth birthday- she wanted her ears pierced. He was incredibly patient and kind to her. She made a picture for him. He had her sign it, and she gave him a special necklace that he wore for her piercing day. She got one earring and came back for the second a few weeks later when she felt ready. She loves her earrings SO much and talks about how nice Mr Rich was !
