The food was delicious, but my plate was luke warm; not a great temperature for enchiladas. There were 5 of us and I bet that my plate sat in the kitchen until the other plates were ready. The salsa was fresh and the corn bread was amazing; totallyrecommended. The waiter was friendly. I'd come back to this place.
I haven't been to Iguana in a few years. This used to be my go to restaurant back in the day. I was overall disappointed. The waitress was very unfriendly and not attentive. Ordered dip trio (was all very good). Husband I ordered the taco plate. My beans and potatoes were very good but the tacos were not. They were not very warm and the chicken fajita had a spice or herb in it that just tasted out of place. My husband got the green chile cornbread and it was ice cold. He asked to have it heated and they brought more that was literally burned black. :( I left sad as it didn't live up to my past experiences.
Had a great dinner at iguana’s the other night. Service was really good and was never in a rush for us to leave our table. All the chips and salsa was very fresh with lots of flavor. My bowl was very filling with lots of steak and everything else. Very hidden gem in Okc, definitely will be coming back again to try more great menu items soon !
Stopped in for a late Saturday lunch. The restaurant was clean with a fun atmosphere. Our waitress was nice but failed to refill our drinks and failed to offer a salsa or chip refill. There was one bowl of salsa to be shared at the table. We enjoyed our entrees which were grilled chicken chimichurri and an asada torta. Our sides were extremely disappointing. The green chile corn bread was cold as if it had just been pulled out of the cooler. It was extremely bland with no chiles in the batter. The black beans were also cold and had a strong taste of chili powder. We did mention the cornbread to our waitress but she did not offer another side. It was nice to try something new but it was an underwhelming experience.
The food was flavor full and delicious! Drinks were great! Arrived during happy hour, so even better.😉 I ordered the Sangria Swirl Margarita and the Birria 🌮Tacos. The loaded queso was a yummy app. Already planning on coming back for the patio and drinks 🍹!!
