The setting is stunning. The service is excellent, fast and professional. The food however doesn’t reflect the price at all. Way too expensive for what you get. Sashimis : same as those you can sometimes find in Woolies or Coles. Poor texture and average taste. The prawn tempura in the maki was old and soggy, not fresh. The biggest joke : the « Anticucho maki » from the maki rolls menu. First ingredient is supposed to be seared wagyu beef mbs 6+. Lol. Check my photo ; it is a 100% veggies stuffed maki with sprinkles on top, I’m not even sure it was wagyu beef as I had 10gr spread out on 6 rolls. 10gr might be even generous. The rest was average, including the two cocktails we had. 3 stars for the atmosphere and perfect service, our waiter was very professional and received positively our critics. But we came here mainly for the food, the Nikkei experience. We just got fooled by the good reviews. We’ll never come back.
This is the perfect place for a date! Fabulous interiors, great service and lipsmacking food. We tried a variety of their vegetarian and vegan dishes and were thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our dinner here, the food and vibe was top notch. Cocktails were divine. Great veg options, Everything was absolutely delicious and we would absolutely come back One star off for service, the waitstaff were all lovely however a bit all over the place, I had to keep trying to get their attention, no one cleared any cups of plates off and our tables was just a bit chaotic. We weren’t fussed by it but it would have been a more elevated and 5 star experience if it was on point
Wow!! Just WOW!! We had been told about this restaurant from a few locals and as we are visiting from interstate - valued a good recommendation. We decided to go for lunch and had the $140 tasting menu. This was next level and we were both blown away by the food which was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Honestly just 10/10 !! We cocktails and dined our way though the set tasting menu. For $98. Per person i do believe it was worth it. Each meal well presented and explained with flavour that just melt away. I loved it. Easy access aswell while being on crutches. Book in for a night out, event or just to treat yourself !! We'll worth it
