I love this place. The artworks are truly interesting and thought provoking it really makes you pause and wonder what the artist was thinking. Each exhibit feels intentional and sparks curiosity in a different way. I also bought my ticket online, which was very convenient and made the whole experience smooth and easy. The Miami Institute of Contemporary Art is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy modern art and creative expression.
An amazing place to see & enjoy a myriad different art styles. Gorgeous venue with an incredible sculpture garden that is the more permanent part of the collection. My 4th or 5th visit over as many years. LOVE. LOVE, LOVE IT!
Not much of a permanent collection; 2/3 for temp exhibits. I took a bunch of photos to give an idea of what the art is like. Has a nice garden. It’s free, just register in advance Very fun architecture!
Intriguing, provocative, inspiring, and accessible. The current exhibits showcase intense talents - the time consumingly, wonderful paper beads, the 3rd floor textile exhibit with painted and woven textures of various strings and fabrics, and those abstract works that felt out of this world yet hidden in one's self. It's always a pleasure to walk through and thoughtfully wonder while sharing it with my family. Thank you ❤️
The museum is a beautiful blend of modern architecture and inspiring artistry. The three-story layout makes it easy to navigate while showcasing incredible pieces with true mastery. The current exhibits are some of the best I’ve seen here and made the visit especially memorable. As a bonus, free entry makes the experience even more accessible, and convenient parking is available across the street in a garage at a low cost. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves art and design.
