I feel really lucky to have found this place for learning taekwondo as an adult beginner. The class teaches you a lot of things and the community is very welcoming which are both important to me. Looking forward to continue my taekwondo journey with this dojang!
I started taking the adult Taekwondo classes about 6 months ago. The community is incredibly welcoming and supportive, and the instructors are both knowledgeable and motivating. Every class strikes the right balance of challenge and encouragement, and there’s always something new to learn. It’s the perfect place to grow your taekwondo skills while being part of a great community.
IMAC is a martial arts oasis in the middle of Manhattan! I have been going for 6 months and have learned so much in such a short time. The trainings are challenging but incredibly rewarding and Master Hahn makes us all feel welcome and encouraged. The class feels like one big happy family where we grow and learn together. It’s the most rewarding place to learn taekwondo and I’m so happy I joined. 5/5 stars!
starting taekwondo up at IMAC has been an extremely rewarding experience. The instructors are encouraging and make every class fun and challenging. I have gained confidence, discipline and these classes keep me in good shape too! I highly recommend IMAC to learn taekwondo!
Joining IMAC as an adult with no prior experience was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Under Grandmaster Hahn’s guidance, the adult classes have helped me improve my fitness, learn effective self-defense, and build discipline and confidence. I highly recommend IMAC to anyone considering taekwondo, self-defense classes or just a fun way to get some exercise and learn a new skill. I'll also mention that the school has a very welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of community, with both instructors and fellow students offering constant encouragement.
