Ippin was everything I could hope for from a Japanese dining experience in Australia. Both sake and wine were clearly chosen with exquisite care (not surprising considering a master of wine was behind the selection). I liked the recommendations included with each sake/wine on the menu as to what pairings will be most successful. And you can never go wrong with Dassai! The karaage chicken bao… is without question the best I’ve ever had. The tempura vegetables were fantastic (broccolini was my favourite) and the duck was perfection in every way. Presentation, cooking skill, and flavour. Exceptional dining experience from start to finish with excellent service to match.
Absolutely delicious Japanese food here. The service was amazing and the staff were professional. The seafood was all fresh and the steak was cooked to perfection. Was thoroughly impressed by the quality of presentation and their sake was quite smooth. Their cocktails and mocktails were also super yummy and I highly recommend others to try them.
Absolutely incredible dining, I highly recommend. The quality of every dish was top tier. Beautiful ambiance and the service was great. The mock/cocktails were the best I’ve had in my life. My favorite was the fruit boom and matcha, but all were really delicious. We ordered the set and a couple extra sides. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients. I can’t wait to return again!
Updated review Second time visiting the venue, ordered a la carte. Sashimi and nigiri were fresh and beautiful prepared. Everything was delicious! ***** Beautiful venue. Attentive service. Delicious food! We were there for a birthday celebration and they gave us an upgrade to the big party room. We ordered the $98 set menu and everything was fresh delicious! We will definitely be returning
A beautiful restaurant to celebrate a special event and enjoy delicious food. Everything is 10/10, the food, the service, the atmosphere. I loved everything about my dining experience at Ippin and will definitely be back
