I would absolutely recommend J2BBQ/Gratitude Catering for your special event. Jan is a great cook and I have never tasted anything from his kitchen that wasn't absolutely tasty. That said I was a little apprehensive when I ordered the Taco Buffet from his catering menu for an event I was helping get arranged for a client. I mean, how well can an american guy really do Mexican food? Well I am here to tell you that my apprehension was 100% wrong. He delivered a GREAT spread for this event that tasted 100% on point. I'm not unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine, I have traveled through Mexico and I can tell you what is good and what isn't. Jan's cooking 100% hit the spot. Every person I talked to at the event complimented the food. Thank you Jan for taking the stress off on an event that mattered massively to me and my family.
We catered with J2BBQ and the food was outstanding. The beef brisket, smoked chicken and pulled pork delivered robust flavor, meat was moist, not dried out and was a big hit. Two sides, max and cheese and cold slaw brought it all together. I would recommend this company for catering. Thank you again Andy and company for the great experience.
We had J2BBQ cater our wedding and we chose the BBQ taco bar. It was amazing! All our guests were raving about the food and really enjoyed it. Even weeks later people were still talking about the food. Highly recommend for any event!
Amazing food, the smoked bbq pulled pork had amazing sweet smoked flavor, and the maccaroni had perfect texture and cheesiness! Would highly recommend this bbq to anyone, and I will be searching for it again! He even gave me some smoked chicken for my dog Nova, and she LOVED it, She personally rated the chicken, 10/10! Thanks!
The brisket and twisted mac-n-cheese were amazing. We waited in a line for the food truck but it was so worth it!
