This review is more about the business side of the company than the movers themselves. I called to get an estimate on loading up a 20x15 unit which was about 80% full, some furniture, a lot of boxes and a few loose items into a moving truck provided by me. I was quoted 2 hours, was told it might take up to 3 hours and with their pricing it was going to be somewhere around $300. The quote was so good that I didn’t even bother to call new chapters moving who did an excellent job moving everything into the storage units previously. On moving day the two guys that showed up told me I was their only client that day, which I thought was strange, because who agrees to come into work for a 2-3 hour day. As the hours went on I realized I was lied to and this was going to take all day. I constantly had to correct the movers how to stack things and they took down very small stacks of boxes. Furniture was moved very unprofessionally, constantly flipping expensive furniture upside down and on its side risking damage. When 2pm came around, 4 hours into the move I realized this wasn’t getting down anytime soon and I started taking 2-3 moving carts at a time myself and bringing it down to them as they hung out in the moving truck and still managed to fall extremely behind where the whole lobby and outside loading area was overflowing with things needing to get loaded. As it got closer to 4 pm they seemed to give up and just started stacking things like nice wooden chairs on top of each other and not using any moving blankets even though a stack was provided for that very reason even though I told them this was a cross country move. They finished at 5pm. Took 7 hours for a job that was quoted as 2, maybe 3 hours total and cost over $1000. That’s with me running as a third mover pretty much the whole time, and practically running nonstop the last 3 hours. Btw new chapters moving loaded up about half of this, drove it 30 minutes and unloaded it into that storage unit in less than half the time. No I would not recommend this moving company to anyone, I feel like I was robbed and several things showed decent amount of damage from the move. Not sure how thy are so high rated, look elsewhere. Move was booked under my name. Receipt says 12/10/25 432pm reference ending in 3004. I truly don’t believe record of my move cannot be found. You want to make it right you can reach out to me.
5 stars for Jaguar moving! The team handled the move with care and were very friendly. Rome, Rashad, and Walter were capable of heavy lifting and were very thorough in protecting every piece. I also like how this company charges by the minute rather than blocking by the half hour. The owner, Hank, is a stand-up, honest guy. He's the type of business owner you enjoy supporting. I also liked how clear the pricing was at the start and at the finish. The team was very up front about pricing including all fees related - I have been surprised by fees in the past so I appreciated how upfront the documentation was.
We had a great experience with Jaguar Moving! Our team of Jon, Rashad, and Walt were very friendly and courteous. They moved quickly and strategically. Everything went smoothly and we highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. The company provided helpful reminder communications and the team communicated when on their way.
Our experience with Jaguar Moving was AMAZING!!! Our team consisted on Rome, Josh and Khrus. They were professional, efficient, friendly …and did I mention FAST??!! Don’t even bother getting a quote from any other company… I can promise you - you won’t be disappointed! I was originally quoted 6 to 8 hours for the complete move and it took them a total of 3 which included wrapping all of our furniture, driving to our new location, placing everything and unwrapping it. Five Stars!!
Evan and Antonio were awesome! Very professional and efficient with moving my mother-in-laws things to storage. They were on time, very friendly and accommodating. We have used Jaguar Moving 5 times and every experience has been awesome! Highly recommend them!
