Amazing Experience! Going to a place for the first time with physical mobility and neurodivergence issues can leave you overwhelmed and awkward. But Jay and the whole team made me feel welcomed and assisted me without making it feel like it was a hassle. The cut was brilliant and the relaxed atmosphere helped put me at ease. Will definitely be back! Thank you Jay.
Had my first Cut with Jay today in store, what an absolute gentleman he is. Couldn't be more helpful, His knowledge and experience is top notch left feeling fresh and clean. I have fine textured hair and jay was able to make it look a lot fuller with the techniques used 10/10 couldn't recommend enough ♥️
My first experience at Jays Barbers. Although it was my first time in Jays Barbers, I was made to feel at home straight away. I made David aware that sometimes I struggle with anxiety due to not being able to leave the chair and he put me at ease straight away. Both David and Jay chatted away throughout the cut and it was genuinely a great experience. Really pleased with the haircut and beard trim and can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you very much 👍🏻
After reading about Jay, we had to try his barbers shop for our three boys hair cuts. We were made very welcome when we walked in, the shop is gorgeous inside. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. All three of our boys loved their haircuts, the eldest who is fussy with his hair said it was the best cut he has had, and commented that the lady stylist(sorry i don’t know her name) took her time and made it perfect, unlike some other barber shops we have been to and the hair is just razored as quick as possible. We will definitely be back in Jay’s as soon as the boys need their hair’s cut again.
Went here for a fix up from a bad haircut from the day before. I looked a some reviews for a top barbershop and Jay's looked to be the number 1 about so I gave it a go. Got a booking with the owner Jay amongst a full schedule and it was 110% worth driving across town for. He managed to fix it perfectly and the fade was flawless and balanced - a top pro amongst a professional outfit. The other barbers in his shop were busy with their own customers and I could see from the work that they were highly skilled at the craft - this filled me confidence before I even sat in the chair! Many can train to be a barber but very few can do it to such as a high standard. Fades are very tricky to get perfect but this was one of best I've had. He refused to charge me for it me initially but I insisted and he wouldn't take more than half price. Brilliant customer service, spotless modern shop - and most importantly, highly skilled barbers.
