Booked a gel full set w/ cat eye! 🐾 Absolutely loved the results, my favorite nail salon in JC! NeyDy took the time to make sure I had the nail shape, size, and style I wanted - even showing me the different cat eye magnet styles. The staff is always so nice and the service is wonderful. Thank you so much! ❤️
I was in town for a wedding so it was my 1st time visiting this salon. The staff was fine, no issues with rudeness. I showed an inspiration photo to my nail tech (seated at the 1st station, can’t remember her name) & she said “I don’t do that”. No worries, I pick a different design. The nails themselves turned out pretty good, I was satisfied. (Picture added was taken a few weeks after getting them done) However, I’m knocking off stars because of the amount of time I was in the salon!! Important to note is that this appointment was for a FILL not a new full set. I kept the same shape as I always do & had no broken nails. I get my nails done every ~3 weeks (always with a design, usually more detailed than this set), & am a digital nomad so I’ve visited salons all over the country. In no world should it have taken them OVER 2 HOURS to do a fill! Not sure if the tech just wasn’t feeling it that day or what, but I almost had to leave with them half finished so I didn’t miss the wedding! I do think that part of it had to do with the tech continuously stopping throughout the service for various reasons: to talk to another worker, look at her phone, to find a nail polish for someone else, to answer a call, etc. Now I’m not an unreasonable person, these people are doing hard work all day & 100% deserve breaks. However, this got to be excessive. Maybe they’re not always this slow, but be warned if you’re not looking to spend 2+ hours getting a fill! For reference, the nail tech next to me finished TWO WHOLE people & had started working on a third 😭 And my nails were still unfinished…
I always LOVE coming to get my nails done here. always my GO-TO woman! They do the best designs and is always precise with what I want, I just sit down and they know exactly how to handle my nails with so much care. If you’re in the area, definitely come and check out this nail salon, so many kind talented women here for nail care/designs. they definitely have me as a loyal customer forever.
This was my first time coming to this salon, they were very welcoming and all was good up until they nail painting part came along. The design itself was something I HAD to get because it was for an event where they required me to match the person that was being celebrated. The design is horrible and that is no fault of the salon. What is, is the quality of work and thats what this review is about. I got a soak off, gel manicure and 2 nails got tips because they were broken and I wanted them evened out to match the length of my natural nails. The tech then dipped my nails in powed to reinforce them upon my request because my nails are very fragile. They looked beautiful once the cleaning, shaping and evening out was done. The lack of care to avoid debris to get into the gel and the messy painting and lack of attention to detail was absolutely insane. I paid $145 for these nails and it looks like I did them myself with my left hand. I am extremely disappointed and embarrased to walk around with them. They are lumpy, dust particles are visible in the polish, the white line isnt even and doesnt covers nicely corner to corner. The polish also does not go up closer to the cuticle. Overall, embarrasing job. Which sucks, because the prep before the polish was flawless. It hurt my soul to pay for this, these look no where near or feel no where near $145. I will never come to another Jersey City salon again.
Vanessa is amazing! She did such a beautiful job on my nails. I absolutely love how they turned out. The atmosphere was so fun and positive, everyone made me laugh the entire time. It’s great to go to a place with that kind of energy!
