Love this spot! They just moved to 5316 Menchaca Rd! Great haircut, affordable price and always cleannnnnn! Shoutout to David and his brother Jimmy for always being super hospitable!!!
Jimmy's is a laid back, awesome, locally owned barbershop. I brought my son in on a whim and I'm so glad I did. David gave him a fresh clean cut and was definitely one of the best he's had. I will be bringing my other boys back here for sure!
I normally get my hair cut far north of town, but as this adds several hours to my Saturday errand extravaganza I decided to try something more local to where I live in South Austin so I popped into Jimmy's for a change of scenery and a generic white boy "can you give me the Tom Brady fade?" hair cut. Now what I like about Jimmy's is what I like about any good hair cutter which is they keep the conversation to a minimum which means more haircut and less awkward small talk. So I will be returning to Jimmy's and recommend them for men who don't want the typical chatty great chips torture experience.
Javi The Barber has been doing my sons cut for a while now. He's very experienced, professional and prideful in his art. I appreciate that he takes his time to understand what my son wants and is great at delivering. I highly recommend Javi if you're in the area and need a cut.
Super friendly vibe. I walked right in and was treated to a cozy, professional cut. Friendly conversation and a chill spot. I wouldn’t have guessed it and even the Lyft driver went past it on the way. It’s in the same spot as a gas station and a food truck. This is the second time I’ve gotten a haircut at a random Austin spot in my travels. I’m down to come back here any time. They even recommended good food for me!
