I was tattooed by Olympia Schulte - Olympia was amazing to work with from first contact through to aftercare. My tattoo is white ink, and I'm thrilled with the result. It has healed very well and remained as vivid as the concept art. The Collective space is really beautiful - everything is immaculately clean, there's lots of art and colour, and the waiting area is lovely too.
Getting my full sleeve done by Shin was an absolute privilege! He has a clear passion and the attention to detail is honestly unreal. Every session felt like hanging out with a mate who genuinely cares about you and the art he’s creating on your skin. Also the whole crew at the shop are so friendly, welcoming, and they make the long sessions fly by with great chats and vibes. Clean studio with amazing artwork on the walls to admire. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your tattoo like a work of art and you like a human then Shin is your guy. Thank you again Shin. Your a legend!
Working with Tal was genuinely the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Because of Tal's super friendly and kind nature, I recommend her to anyone, but I especially recommend her to anyone who is thinking of getting their first tattoo. I showed Tal my fairly solid idea of what I wanted, but it wasnt polished and I was open for a little input. I knew Tal was great from the stuff I saw online, but I was so happy with how much she understood me, and where I was going with my idea. My tattoo is quite personal so I'm sorry that I won't be posting it here for ya'll, but I wanted to take the time to express that as soon as it was done, and I looked in the mirror, I immediately knew this tattoo was my favourite by far. And even though I love all the tattoos I've gotten in my life, Tal's art on me, elevated my love for my body, which resulted in a deeper love for myself. It wasnt a feeling I expected at all, but it makes sense when you combine an amazing artist, with a person who actually gets what you have in your head. On another slightly personal note, It's been almost a decade since my last tattoo, and I was convinced this would be my last one (I even promised my partner it would be), but I'm sincerely looking forward to having more art done with Tal. It's an absolute definite now tbh hahahaha This was a truly moving experience that's added so much positivity in my life atm, and I can't thank the collective enough. Thank youJoya for housing such amazing talented artists in your collective. To Tallon, I'll be reaching out for something soon. You made this to easy to decide hahahaha - H.G.
Big thank you to Joya tattoo especially artist Bredon for getting 8 girls in and doing 9 tattoos for a big hens group very last minute! Amazing atmosphere and fantastic memories and tattoos for all!
100% recommend Joya Tattoo Collective! During my entire experience I felt safe, comfortable, and confident in the talent and skill of Jose and the team. Jose, co-owner of the studio, took my brief and designed a piece that was better than I could have imagined! He drew influence from trash polka style, whilst keeping true to his own personal style too. He was also very open to collaboration on the day and able to add extra touches to the design on the spot. This really built my trust! The studio itself is a bright, open and clean space - you can also help yourself to coffee or refrigerated bottles of water and coke - this made for a very comfortable experience. Jose worked fast and with extreme procession. He showed me care by reassuring me that if the pain became too much we could break at any point. Once finished, we shared our excitement and happiness with the complete piece! The price was more than value for money, and Jose gave perfect aftercare instructions, also importantly they give a 3 week guarantee for free touch ups if needed after the healing process. I left Joya so happy with the new artwork on my leg, and I was extremely confident I was looked after even after walking out the door. Thank you Jose and Joya Tattoo Collective!!!!
