KIN KHAO Dined at KIN KHAO and was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional—especially the squid and the pork belly, which were truly outstanding. The balance of flavors and execution were spot on. We also tried the rabbit curry and the Brussels sprouts, both of which were very well done and complemented the meal beautifully. Service was attentive and professional, contributing to an overall excellent dining experience. While the pricing is on the higher side, the quality and creativity justify it. The chef clearly knows what they are doing. Highly recommended.
Very interesting Michelin star Thai restaurant. For dinner they offer prefixed menu and order to share menu. Three of us ordered two appetizers, two main dishes and could not finish. Appetizers are very generous portions, hot chicken wings are delicious. The highlight of dinner is the pork belly, it melts in the mouth, the flavor is great, not feeling heavy at all. Beef is very nice too. We ordered black rice pudding as dessert, it is a little bit too sweet. The service is very attentive, when we got seated, there is a handwritten card for our occasion which is very nice! The dining environment is cozy. My only complaint is that when they bring the dish over, they do not explain the details of the dish, that is what I expect from Michelin star.
Such a wonderful dining experience! It is unlike tour "typical" Thai menu, and gave us the opportunity to try dishes we've never had before. We opted for the multiple-course meal with set menu, and had so much fun trying so much food. The wings are hot, so watch out! Those peppers are sneaky! Reservations highly recommended.
Food- 4.5/5. We got the Mushroom Hor Mok, Namprik Long Rua, and clams (special of the night). Loved the mushroom, the flavorful curry mouse pairs super will with the crispy rice cakes. Namprik Long Rua is very salty but it reminds me of legitimate south East Asian food. The flavorful sauce and pork belly also pairs well with the huge variety of vegetables. The clams were ok. It was tasty but had an interesting slight bitter taste to the sauce. Was a little disappointed by how many clams were barely open. Drinks- 5/5. Tried the Tom Yum 2.0 and Thai style old fashion and both were very well mixed and creative. Enjoyed both. Service - 4.5/5. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. There were people constantly checking on our table to take away empty plates. Only slight complaint is that food / drinks came out a little slow. To be fair the restaurant was really busy on a Saturday night. Recommend making a reservation in advance.
Really delicious meal at Kin Khao. We had the Nom Tok beans, tomato salad, Khao Yum , Pad Kee Mao, and Delicata Penang curry. They have a a lot of dishes that are veg forward and full of flavor. The first dishes came out super fast and continued with good pacing throughout the meal . This was my second time here and would come back again.
