Although Andrea has cut my hair in the past and I had good results i went back recently and had a terrible experience. I have fine hair and didn’t know Andrea’s cutting technique would ruin my hair. It’s fried as if burnt by chemicals. Devastating experience. The only fix at this point would be a wig and I wish she would respond to my text messages regarding my hair.
The Kindred hair experience is amazing. Andrea is a one of a kind. I wasn't sure what type of style I wanted and Andrea asked thoughtful questions about my daily routine, lifestyle and the look I was hoping to achieve to help me figure out what style would work best. Andrea also explained, in easy to understand terms, the science behind different hair types, face shapes and general hair health. Andrea showed me how to style my hair to achieve the post salon look. I left the salon feeling empowered/ confident in my ability to maintain my new style and improve my overall hair health. Really cant recommend Andrea and Kindred enough!
Andrea is absolutely amazing. She took her time with my elderly mother to make sure she had a cut that would be easy to maintain and super stylish. She even revealed my mom's natural curls. Her space is inviting, serene, and made us very comfortable. We had a wonderful experience. Strongly recommend.
Andrea is amazing! I loved how she took the time to really understand my hair. She took into account how it grows, how it falls, and what styles would best complement my face and then she created the perfect cut for me. She also showed me how to style it at home and gave me lots of tips on how to do it on my own. Andrea's an excellent teacher and really knows her craft. Whether you're ready for a total transformation or just want a really good haircut, I highly recommend Andrea and Kindred Hair Space. The whole experience was a joy!
My experience at Kindred Hair was incredible! After an in-depth conversation about my hair, habits, and styling experience, Andrea knew exactly what I wanted without showing her a reference picture and she nailed it! I’ve been struggling to find a stylist who works well with Asian hair, but Andrea is so knowledgeable about her craft and is a wonderful teacher. If you’re on the fence, she is definitely worth a visit!
