Our experience at King Living in Southport was made more enjoyable because our consultant Helen was extremely professional and friendly and full of helpful ideas. We had a fun few hours with her and would highly recommend Helen and King living to our friends n family.
I have recently had the most diabolical customer service from King Living. In June or July this year, I went into a showroom to chose the colour for our coffee table/sidetables, the sales person in the showroom advised me of the incorrect colour. We wanted Smoked Ash NOT Walnut. The issue was, the sales person thought the Walnut was the Smoked Ash colour. I placed the order online after considering the pieces and didn’t realise until some time afterwards, I had been ill advised of the colour. Having explained this to customer service, which is absolutely terrible, they said I had to forgo my deposit even though this was not my fault. It was their employees. I took the blow and cancelled the order and have reordered in the correct colour. Literally to this day, I am still getting emails asking me if I want to cancel the initial order. I think I have told them I want to cancel the order 5 times already. You would think that a business as elite as this would have superior customer service- they absolutely do not and they definitely do not care about their customers. Do better King Living.
If I could give it a zero I would. EVERY BAD REVIEW HERE I HAVE EXPERIENCE FIRST HAND.I Ordered 13k worth of leather sofa Nov 2024 and received it with the poorest quality and craftsmanship. Edges not aligned with stitches/ ruffled internal foam seen through the leather/ hollowed areas from not having enough foam & worst of all there’s 3 shades of mismatched leather used throughout the sofa.Complain was sent through Kingliving showroom & head office and after 6 months of endless follow up phone calls talking to overseas call centre & lenghty emails,broken promises, dismissive & unwelcoming attitude from showroom management finally got directed to a case manager in head office. I was given choice of refund or remake. I took the remake offer and fast forward 3 cancelled delivery dates later I finally received the sofa 10 months later! All the anticipation only to arrive with blemish on the leather and again mismatched leather pigment, in fairness not as bad as the first time.the motor on the sofa was missing a part so it was not working. Too disappointing even if my expectations were already so low. They have reach out to me to rectify once again but I’m tossing between charging it to bad experience or going thru the same rigorous stress again. This company is joke. Only people in this company I’m happy with is the delivery team. They are reliable and very thoughtful setting up and packing the furniture. Overall I wouldn’t recommmend this company to my enemy. Product is a pretend high end. A mart can matched their low quality leather better than this company.what a waste of money
Delivery update: No joiners, chairs are all warped and rock back and forth, no padding on corner lounger does not line up with others, fabric all stretched. Install Failed due to missing items Updated: GOC25040174 - Strange you have no idea Deb .. multi emails and calls to you guys. Told us in store 6-8 weeks lead time , now looking like 14 weeks (as per terms and conditions that they have referred to 3 times) Then got told I can pick up , but now they have told me stock take and now have to wait more weeks for delivery. Once you leave the shop they done want to know you .. is how I personally feel . Shop level have down nothing to try help and you get passed on to the 1300 number average call wait has been 58 minutes to get a representative.
