lovely and friendly staff, everytime i come in and leave im always greeted with a friendly hello and a smile! during my first few sessions here i was pretty nervous but i asked one of the employees for help with equipment and they were more than happy to show me round! there’s no cable row but they showed me an alternative which works just as well! given the space, they have everything you could need and even a dedicated hip thrust space with a barbell for the girlies looking to grow their glutes! Changing rooms are always clean and tidy, never have to wait too long for equipment aside from the cables occasionally. have been coming here for quite a few months now and no real complaints!
the facilities here are great, as a new gym goer i was quite nervous about starting but the girl behind the front desk (didn’t catch her name sorry! she had dark hair) was so friendly and put me at ease instantly! highly recommend 🫶🏼
Facilities are great but cancelled my membership after 2 visits due to the girl behind the front desk being rude and unwelcoming! She made me feel so uncomfortable on both occasions, not the experience you expect for a £40/month membership
Pretty decent gym. Pool needs a makeover and a women’s only sauna would be good. But for the price it’s good value. The classes are amazing and the staff and members are lovely. Recommend.
I recently joined but cancelled membership after a trial. Positives: Pool is great. Sauna - is very hot great. Staff i signed up with were fine. Although some others seemed unfriendly. Really friendly patrons. Negatives: Opening hours on Friday evening and weekend are very limiting. They hire out some of their lockers which is just a bizarre thing to do. Why? The poolside closes at 45 minutes before closing time, what?? There is no spinner to dry wet gear and no bags provided. I askes staff where the spinner was and they replied only posh gyms have those! Ahem.. No! The lockers in the male changing room absolutely manky. The lino is coming up in places and its very dirty. This entire area needs a serious makeover. The benches in the changing room are very uncomfortable to sit on and the area seems very humid with very little space. There seems to be no air con which is surprising as this will encourage mould given the damness and heat in this area The hot showers are like something from the 1950s. You cant adjust the temp and they all seem to go off after about 30 seconds. This is really annoying as you have to keep pushing the button while trying to have a shower. No seats on pool side, although there are two recliners. There are no hot showers on poolside. They seem to have invested in a lot of cold showers because at least half the showers are cold showers. The cold showers dont go off after 30 seconds! 🤔 The steam room is really hot which is great but the seating is really uncomfortable. The male changing room and showers gives the impression that management are skimming as much profit as they can off the top but not investing anything back into the business. Disapointing
