Knit Sew Fabulous is exactly that- FABULOUS!!! The owner, Lynette has made alterations on several garments for me. Her work is Outstanding, especially with my short, petite frame. She delivers service with such a sweet spirit and is considerate and accommodating with one's schedule. I vote Lynette as the Best Seamstress on the Eastside of Detroit! Called at 10:05 a.m. in a panic because my expensive St. John knit blazer had a huge conspicuous hole near the center of the back. I hadn't worn it in about 6-7 years and had an important funeral to attend in 5 days. Getting a voicemail during business hours sent me into an even greater frenzy! Imagine my surprise when Lynette called back 3 minutes later! Warm and understanding, she allowed me to send her a pic and assured me she could help. After an ordeal getting from the far West side, I arrived at her clean, inviting studio and she had set aside time specifically to work on my project! With nimble fingers and a companionable listening ear, she got that hole knit and pressed in less than an hour! She's a warm and beautiful spirit and a talented 'seamstress/tailor/repairperson' RESCUER!!! She had other gorgeous 'fits hanging around and was wearing a killer denim skirt that I know her creative self made!! Wherever you are in the metro Detroit area, swing by to see a Sistuh for your customized clothing needs. If you're farther away, burn the gas; she's worth it!
knit sew fabulous is a great place for alteration and sewing needs. i have never been so pleased with the creativity. Lynette created this jacket for me. Her vision of what the garment should look like is jest phenomenal. its elegance for evening attire was just what i wanted. loved it so much i have one in black too! thank you Knit Sew Fabulous!
