Lawrence at Koolau Farmers was wonderful yesterday! He helped me with multiple questions and was very informative. I am a relatively new plant owner and he showed me exactly how to repot my fiddle leaf fig, which soil to use, and gave me nutrients for my anthurium. He was kind and not patronizing. Thank you Lawrence! Beautiful selection there as well.

I highly recommend this store! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. This morning, I called several stores looking to reserve an orchid since I work regular hours and most places are open and closed during the same times I’m at work. When I reached out to this store, not only were they accommodating, but the person I spoke with even sent me photos of their available orchids so I could choose exactly what I wanted to reserve. In contrast, the other stores I called simply told me to come in whenever I could and pick from what was left. I’ll definitely be returning here for all my future flower and plant needs. Thank you so much for your help today!

Bought exactly nothing today however, my daughter is coming back once she gets her foundation started. The people here were so kind and knowledgeable! The honesty for sourcing materials for the project were refreshing and welcome. You have a lovely environment for growing plants and nourishing forever clients. Update NOV 2023 : I still love this place. They had about four different varieties of banana plants to buy, including namwah / Thai, blue Java / ice cream, apple banana, williams banana… And delicious, fresh produce, and little herbs plants... OCT 2023 : Excellent garden and growing-plants-supply shop with organic-friendly soil treatments and pesticides / fungicides. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They also sell live plants and flowers and herbs and tools and such.

Amazing spot in the city! I recommend going here for your plants/gardening needs versus anywhere else. Limited parking but it wasn’t as busy when I went. They had a variety of plants that would suit your needs and you definitely wouldn’t leave empty handed. All the plants were healthy, happy, and thriving! There were plants for landscaping, herbs for your kitchen, and decorative plants throughout the property. It’s also very calm and peaceful which is an awesome perk, am I right? I’d also like to point out that they had fertilizers, pots, and whatever you’d usually use in a garden and not just plants. There’s always someone in the front or in the back who would be more than happy to help you and give you prime advice! Super friendly faces. I found my new favorite spot. ☺️
