I brought my mom who was visiting from out of town on Thursday and it was so good I came back with my husband today. Erick was our server and he was wonderful. Very patient as we decided on what to order. Answered lots of questions, was very attentive. I love the experience of hot pot and Korean bbq. It’s so fun and the food was fantastic. But fan of the hangar steak and the spicy beef bulgogi. My only bit of feedback about the food is that I didn’t like that the swai fish was plated between the gyoza and quail eggs. My feeling is that any raw element should be plated separately. The environment of the restaurant isn’t my favorite. The music is a bit loud and there’s a lot of distracting elements like blinking lights and TVs on. I have a neurological disorder so I am a bit sensitive to these things, but the food was phenomenal and so was the service. Will definitely be back.
We had an absolutely amazing experience at KPot and a huge part of that was thanks to our server Achi🙏❤️She is not only incredibly charming, but also exceptionally professional, kind, and truly outstanding at her job. The food here is absolutely great, and Achi made our evening unforgettable. She explained everything in detail how to grill, what to try first, and the best combinations. It was our first time here, and she guided us through the whole experience with so much warmth and attention) We were especially impressed by the sauces, she explained that she actually made them! They were so delicious and elevated the whole meal. This was our first KPot experience, and because of amazing food and Achi, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend! PS: she also make this pic of us on receipt, which is so cute 🥰
Our server, Archi, was absolutely amazing! She was so enthusiastic, friendly, and made our whole dining experience feel extra special. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and her positive energy was contagious. I’d definitely recommend asking for Archi if you visit , she’s the best! The food was also delicious, and everything came out just right. Overall, a wonderful experience all around!
Our visit to K Pot was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, our server Daniel made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and so relatable, striking the perfect balance between attentive and easygoing. His energy and personality really elevated the whole night — truly one of the best servers we’ve ever had! The food speaks for itself — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We decided to be adventurous and tried the frog legs along with our usual meats, and we were pleasantly surprised! The meat was very clean and tender, with barely any gamey flavor — definitely something we’d try again. To top it off, the plum soju was the perfect drink choice — smooth, slightly sweet, and an ideal complement to all the rich, savory flavors of the hot pot and BBQ. Overall, between the top-tier service, amazing food, and welcoming atmosphere, K Pot has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Daniel again!
Well, I finally let the grandkids talk me into trying something “trendy” and we ended up at this place called KPOT in Austin. Now, I’ve never done hot pot or Korean BBQ before, so this was all quite the adventure! First off, the staff was real sweet and patient with me while I figured out how to work the burners and tongs. The young man at the front even called me “ma’am” such nice manners! The food? Oh my stars, there was so much of it. I tried a little bit of everything the marinated beef was my favorite, and the seafood broth had a good kick to it. I didn’t quite know what I was doing with all the sauces, but my granddaughter helped me out. It did get a little loud for my taste (I suppose that’s the modern way), and the tables felt a tad tight when it got busy. But goodness, we had a good time, and I left with a full belly and a happy heart. Would I go again? Maybe not every week but for a special treat with the grandkids? Absolutely.
