Kura Sushi in Houston quickly became one of my go-to sushi spots! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the service is always friendly and efficient — whether you’re dining solo or with friends. I especially loved the crispy shrimp roll — it was flavorful, perfectly crisp, and one of the best rolls I’ve had in the city. Everything we ordered was fresh and well-prepared, and I appreciated the variety on the menu with options for every taste. The conveyor belt makes it fun to try new items, and the quality is consistently good. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving sushi in Houston — I’ll be coming back for more of that crispy shrimp roll!
Revolving sushi is always a fun time, I mean the quality of the fish is what youd expect but its not bad by any means. I took photos of my two favs though, first was this seared eel with cream cheese that was actually reeeeeally good. Second was this hand roll which I thought was nice too.
I came here for the first time with a friend who was visiting and wanted rotary style sushi. I looked it up and found this place. This is also my first time going a rotary sushi place. We sat at the bar and was able to start pulling plates off immediately if we liked. We started by ordering tea, which the robot came to deliver. My friend also ordered a coke, but it was very light and seemed to be going out, instead she replaced it with Dr. Pepper which yielded a much better result. At the time we went, they were collaborating with One Piece. The experience was gamified, so the more plates you eat and discard in the plate hole, the better you are at having a chance to win a prize. The servers were nice and helpful when we saw them. You will need to call for help on the screen for them to come check up on you. When we first got there they asked if we wanted wasabi to which I said yes, but never recieved it. It wasn't that big of a deal for me but if it is for you, you may have to remind them if its a busy day. Also it was easy to order things from the screen which would prove better for us since we were at the end, a lot of the food had been picked up before it made it's way to us. Lots of variety of food and drinks. Very fun experience and I will definitely return.
Must try experience! My friend came from out of town and found this spot online. Keep in mind I wasn’t a huge fan before this and, this place changed my mind. We tried so many different sushis. We left stuffed and happy. Service was excellent. Chris was one of our servers and he did a fantastic job. It was a really fun and unique experience, and it was easy and fun to try new food with there fillable portions.
The place was wonderful. We went on a Tuesday around 5 pm. They seat you away from others till they can't which is really nice. Most of the time they don't talk to you unless they have to or you request help from a touch screen so if you're a introvert this is quite nice and calming. It's quiet and the food is all around you. The big con is the price. It can get pricy real fast if you're not careful. But it's still worth the experience and food. All the food is high quality and anything you order specially is made fresh fresh. If you're wondering if you wanna check it out and you're on the fence? My answer is if you like sushi the answer is yes. Wouldn't come here all the time. This is Definitely one of those special occasions places. Workers are very kind friendly and willing to serve. The cute robot brings you drinks. Plus every 15 plates you get a price at the gapcha pon at your table, you can turn it off if you don't wanna play but the prizes are super cute! They even have an app that lets your whole party order for the table. More than one person cause use the app on their phone and certain items give you a free gapcha pon after so many. It's also a good way to get items you're interested in instead of having to wait for it to go all around the table. They deliver it right to your table using the 2nd belt system. It's great! 11/10. Just.. can't go wrong here Just be sure to bring a big wallet. You gotta try the ice cream !
