La Bottega est un bistrot et restaurant à Belfast, situé au 625 Lisburn Rd, proposant une véritable cuisine italienne. Celebrated my Wife’s 60th birthday with family The food was excellent and service was top notch. Nothing was rushed and accommodated our large party without feeling cramped. Made a special dessert for the big occasion and nothing was too much trouble 10/10
La bottega does Italian food and it does it well! Staff were stupendous all night and the food really speaks for itself as-well. Overall for 3 courses each and 2 drinks £106 was truly value for money I personally think it was underpriced for the quality of food and service which was provided!
After a month travelling around Italy last October, my wife and I fancied a wee bit of Italy in Belfast and that's exactly what we got at La Bottega. What a pleasure our meal was this evening. Francesco was the archetypal Italian host - full of chat, humour and bonhomie as well as being in no rush while advising us over food choice and suggesting an appropriate wine. He even had time to rename my wife 'Rita'. Ruth, apparently, has no Italian equivalent! The service was similarly friendly, polite and slick. Thankfully the food was equal to the service and atmosphere. It lived up to the glowing recommendations we had received, from our nephew's Italian girlfriend, that it was a proper, genuine Italian restaurant. You would not have thought you were sitting on the Lisburn Road! We don't eat out a lot but we will certainly be making the effort to come back here enough to eat our way through the menu. Unfussy, unpretentious, with great food and bona fide Italian hospitality. Forza Francesco! Molto grazie Michele
What a gorgeous restaurant experience! The best Italian food we have ever tried in Belfast! The staff are so warm and welcoming and the restaurant is such a beautiful and cozy spot. Can’t wait to come back 😊 ( also do not miss out on the tiramisu!! It’s 10/10)
Extremely disappointed with the quality of service. We had to repeatedly try and flag the attention of staff for dessert menus (which they weren’t able to provide us with) and then the bill which never arrived. No one came to refill water glasses, offer more drinks, or check in on us during our meal to check we had received everything or would like to order anything else. The food was nice but it took 45 minutes to come out, and the overall ambience was pleasant- but the customer service left us extremely disheartened leaving, especially as we were so excited to try the restaurant and it seemed the tables around us were receiving much better service. I unfortunately couldn’t recommend for the service and the price.
