LIED ABOUT PRICE AND MEMBERSHIP- $29 deal was really $130, go to crunch or another gym instead 1. Staff had me “sign up now for $29 deal” then added to $68 once I signed up then told me AFTER that there is another $60 annual fee that will come out in a few days, then told me have to talk to manager before getting a refund and will wait to hear from manager, never heard anything and now outside my refund window and will still charge the annual fee instead and haven’t even tried to cancel my membership even after when I keep following up, it’s been a hassle with them. 2. Tried talking me into having my 1 year old daughter alone with some old man in the daycare facility with no cameras and no way to to keep an eye on her.
Beware of this place. It's filthy and you could get quite sick. They permit people with footwear to enter the jacuzzi. We all know that gym floors are notorious for fungus and bacteria. I asked a member to remove his shoes. He verbally berated me, used incredibly foul language towards me, and was very physically aggressive towards me. I reported it to management and very little was done. 2 weeks later, the same man assaulted me in the locker room. The manager witnessed his aggression towards me, yet again, nothing of consequence was done. I felt extremely threatened. The manager, Nate, has a reputation of telling members to report any infraction of rules to him. Nothing gets done. I definitely was set up. I won't be going back. I suggest you find another gym. I did.
This is a great gym, especially if you want a hassle free workout. No large groups of youths working out and sitting on the equipment socializing. Definitely a mature crowd, not just in age but in the seriousness of working out. Feels like a private club. Never crowded, plenty of equipment, never a wait for equipment. The cleanest gym I’ve been to in a long time. Every time I’ve been there,there has been an attendant on duty making sure it stays that way. I’ve haven’t seen any broken equipment. Finally the staff is great. Katie and Tom were able to answer all my questions when I came to check out the facility. I felt so comfortable there that I joined that day. No regrets at all, really enjoy working out here Final line, if you are looking for a club that’s clean, well maintained, well equipped and not crowded, this is the club to join. Ask for Katie.
I am a Triathlete. I joined LA Fitness mainly because of the pool. It is well kept and maintained; no other gym has a pool. I also love their stationary bikes and spin classes. Their treadmill options are great as well. They have so many units that I never have to wait for one. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My last interaction with a front desk staff member, Katie, was invaluable. They seem to strive to make your experience better. Highly recommended
Katie signed my husband and I up, she was super welcoming and broke everything down for us, it was a really easy process, she also took the time to go over to reformers Pilates with me. I love the crowd here, it’s spacious, I will be a member here for a while ! ❤️
