I took a pair of tanzinite earrings, matching pendant and loose tanzinite stone to Dave asking for all the stones to be used to create a re-purposed pendant. Dave took my ideas and created a solution. The final piece is more beautiful than I thought anyone could create. The workmanship is excellent with exceptional attention to every detail. Dave and Michelle show care and creativity in the results they provide their customers. In addition to creating lovely items and repairing jewelry, they have a collection of fine estate jewelry for sale. I had a beautiful vintage cocktail ring (probably 1920s era?) I had inherited from my great grandmother. It was always way too small and I didn’t think I would ever wear it as a ring. They were able to cut it down into a pendant — I love it and will enjoy wearing it. Bonus, they took the leftover white gold from the ring part as “trade in” which saved me $26. Very pleased.
Lane Wells did an excellent job on the anniversary earrings. I had the main stones already, picked out the settings on stuller, they ordered and mounted. I shopped the price on this all over town and theirs was the best by far. They got the job done fast, and the end result was gorgeous. Can’t wait to see her face when I give them, and Lane Wells gets a ‘ringing’ endorsement from me.
MIRACLE WORKERS! Can you spot which ruby isn’t like the others? Probably not! When I lost a ruby to my ring, the team did a phenomenal job sourcing an exact match - no easy task for a custom vintage ring like mine - and they did it ahead of schedule! Before I could even leave this review to highlight what an amazing job they did.. my ring was back in the shop after getting caught on the dog leash: Rubies detached and center stone bent. The team quickly made these repairs and got it back to me good as new. I couldn’t recommend this shop enough. Wonderful customer service and experts in what they do. THANK YOU!
