I’ve been working with Ronan and Gabriel for several months now and have been very happy with my progress, particularly with mobility and flexibility in addition to strength training. As a woman approaching 50, I was experiencing a lot of stiffness in my shoulders and hips from previous injuries and my desk job, and now feel much stronger and move with much less restriction and pain. I’m excited to continue my journey with Leap to ensure I stay strong in my years to come!
Before training with Michael, I had chronic lower back pain. Michael helped me start training safely, encouraging me to “listen to my body”, and helping me not just to get stronger but to have better motor control and proprioception. A year later, I have never felt stronger, healthier, more flexible, and more fluid in my movement. Workouts with Michael bring joy to my week and leave me feeling superhuman!
I began my journey with Leap six months ago, and it’s been an incredible experience witnessing the remarkable transformation of my body. Not only have I felt better, but I’ve also gained strength, which is truly remarkable at the age of 50.
I started at Leap as I was not satisfied with my own gym workouts and as a marathon runner in his mid-50’s I was finding myself getting injured more frequently. In the short 3 months the results have been outstanding. My core is much stronger, my running form has changed for the better and I’ve learned as a runner that mobility and flexibility is more important than weight training. What I appreciate about Leap is that the training is one-on-one in a small but fully equipped gym and that the training is customized based on the client’s goals. It’s not a one size fits all approach.
I trained with Gabe 2-3x a week for a year, and I can’t recommend him enough! I enjoy strength training but have struggled with previous hip injuries. Thanks to Gabe’s coaching, I have so much more mobility, strength, and a routine that feels sustainable for years to come! Gabe created customized programs for me (with added optional homework for days we didn’t train together). He’s supportive, pushes you, but also gets that life happens sometimes! He is there to help you roll with the punches and adjust accordingly. Seeing him every week felt therapeutic. He genuinely cares about his clients and helping them succeed. As for the studio, the owner Ronan has created a warm, welcoming environment at LEAP. I attended some of their group workshops and loved how positive and encouraging everyone is. It makes you feel like you belong, regardless of what level of training or strength you start at.
