We can’t recommend Life Martial Arts in Corpus Christi highly enough. What started as a summer camp experience quickly turned into something much more meaningful for our family. After a great summer, we enrolled our son in their after-school pickup program and were impressed by the variety of structured games and activities offered until 6 PM. It’s a fun, active, and well-managed environment that keeps kids engaged. From there, we signed him up for karate training and eventually their black belt training program. He truly enjoys the discipline, the skill-building, and the consistency of the lessons. When LMA added kickboxing, he was eager to jump into that as well. The fact that he looks forward to training each day says everything. The staff is exceptional. Many are former LMA students who now lead with a mix of strict guidance and positive encouragement. Several hold advanced belts in karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing, and they bring real experience and passion to every session. Most of all, Life Martial Arts feels like a big family. The sense of community and support is clear from the moment you walk in. We’re so grateful to be part of a program that builds not only physical skills but also confidence and respect.
One of the best Karate Schools in South Texas. My boy started his journey 4 years ago and has not looked back. Being in Karate my boy has developed self -confidence and body awareness. The flow of training with these instructors is superb not to mention the instructor is also a black belt in jiu-jitsu so he officially understands the ground game. So he will tweak the ground game to be above the rest.

Our son loves LMA! The after school program in addition to the consistent training they offer is unmatched! Master Roberts and his staff are amazing with the kiddos and great at keeping parents/guardians informed along the way!
Awesome place! My son has been attending since he was in 2nd grade, when they picked him up for after school care. He is currently a Junior in high school. He has a black belt in karate, working on his 2nd black belt and is active in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My husband has been attending BJJ as well. LMA is a Christian organization. They have a men's bible study ever other week after BJJ. I highly recommend them.
