I visited Living Spaces knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase. I was greeted promptly at the front desk, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, within moments of entering the store, I was overwhelmed by strong chemical odors throughout the building. The fumes quickly led to a headache and mild nausea, making the experience uncomfortable from the start. Beyond my own discomfort, I found myself genuinely concerned for the health of the employees who work there. Being exposed to those fumes day in and day out can’t be easy, and I hope the furniture industry continues moving toward safer, lower-toxicity materials for the well-being of both workers and customers. I made my way to the area where the furniture I wanted was located and was told someone would assist me there. I found the piece quickly but waited for a bit before anyone checked in. Although there were several sales associates nearby, many appeared to be chatting rather than assisting customers. Eventually, a gentleman helping another shopper stopped to ask how I was doing, and shortly after that, Renee came over to help. Renee was wonderful—kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, helped me settle on the right piece quickly, and walked me through the delivery process, including potential obstacles. Her professionalism truly stood out and made a meaningful difference in my experience. If it weren’t for the strong chemical smell and the delay in receiving assistance, I would have gladly given five stars. Renee’s service, however, was excellent and very much appreciated.
Bought several thousand dollars worth of home furniture goods in February 2025 for our new home. Their furnitures are in good condition except for their cloth based couches. Threads started coming out very bad after few months of usage. Their warranty does not cover that, as they call it a normal wear and tear. Another biggest scam from this store is their zero percent interest offer. They don't explain you about their deferred interest charges and it is nothing but cumulative interest charges after their promotion period. Basically, the interest charges is calculated on the original balance when you signed up, when you have non-zero balance after the promotion period. It could be even as low as $5. For instance, if your original loan is $20,000 and if you had couple of thousand dollars balance after the promotion period, their affiliated bank Synchrony Bank will charge you interest on the original $20,000, which will be close to $7,000. I had to pay $6,500 interest for a balance of $3,400 after their promotional period. Tried to resolve this issue with both Synchrony Bank and Living Spaces but they wold not do anything about it. I will never do business with them in future. Not a honest way to do business. Stay away from them.
First visit and we will be back. Many items appealed to us! The sales people were all very friendly and helpful. I like that they do not work on commission and nobody was following us around everywhere as we looked. Just when you came in to someone's section they let it be known they were there to help if we needed them and left us to look around.
Show room was INCREDIBLE! I absolutely loved their competitor Homezone and had been planning for years to buy form them after several trips but I just stopped by on a whim and was shocked. How can something perfect be 10 times better than?!?!? 3 times the selection with way more salespeople, way more upscale, and prices so reasonable you think you’re on a hidden camera show! Applied for a credit card and got approved, couch configured and ordered in less than 20 minutes on a Friday after work! Love the mock homes they have set up. I wish I could build one to spec! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Nice big parking lot. Walked in, then we looked around and into a sea of sameness. Beautiful big sectional sets, dining tables, sofas, bedroom sets, all of it neutral. We didn't see anything that was unpleasant, but we also didn't see anything with pizzazz. Then we noticed the sales tactics. I am going to have to agree with some other reviewers in that being followed around by a salesperson is not a fun way to shop. That said, when we made it clear we didn't want the person to follow us around, they ceased politely. Very nice. Not so nice is looking at the fine print of the warranty they hope you'll buy and at the high interest rates if you agree to their finance/credit plan. In the end, we decided we just couldn't accept either the styles or the terms. However! Plenty of buyers were lining up to enjoy their products, so they must be doing something right. Talk to family and friends, read the reviews, and make a decision for yourself. There is much to see, just much of it is bland.
