Want to take a moment to highlight a few points about my experience with LMU Studios on the most memorable day of my life! Our wedding day was almost 5 months ago and I am still looking back at pictures in awe. From the moment that my MUA arrived (promptly on time btw) to the time that she packed up and left, she took the absolute best care of me and protected my energy. When you have a million things happening at once and emotions all over the place, it's easy to become overwhelmed. The Artist played relaxing music and talked me down from a mini panic attack without delaying her services. The vision that I shared with The Artist ahead of the big day for myself and my bridal party was executed without flaw. She went above and beyond my expectations. I cried a real good ugly cry right before walking down the aisle and my makeup was still flawless. There was absolutely no running mascara or foundation. I felt comfortable, secure, and absolutely beautiful on that day. Booking LMU Studios was the best decision that I made and I'd make that decision a thousand times over if I got the chance to!
I came across LMU Studios while searching for a make-up artist in the Birmingham area. My mother was attending a wedding there and I wanted to pamper her a bit. Well, pamper indeed. She absolutely loved her experience and looks totally fabulous. Isn't there a rule about upstaging a bride? Thank you, LMU Studios. You did that!
I use to do my own makeup for events and meetings but didn’t love the way that my pictures turned out. I have always been a confident woman and loved the way that I look naturally without makeup, but felt that something was missing for those special occasions. I was adamant about maintaining my natural beauty when choosing a professional makeup artist. I was hesitant because I saw friends get burned after paying astronomical amounts of money only to look washed out and masculine by a different MUA. After doing a lot of research and social media stalking I booked my first appointment with LMU STUDIOS. That was 4 years ago and I have an appointment next week lol. The artist enhanced my natural beauty and continues to wow me with her work. My husband who absolutely hates makeup loves the way that I look after visiting LMU because my face is done so natural, feminine, and soft. As a business woman, I appreciate being able to visit their convenient downtown location before heading to client meetings. I also appreciate how versatile she is because in addition to the softer enhancement for my everyday look, she gave me this breathtaking-straight up red carpet full celebrity glam for a fun photoshoot that I did a couple of years ago. The artist has even taught me a few tips and tricks that have taken my at home makeup routine to a new level. I really believe that a full face enhancement at LMU Studios is a luxury that every woman deserves!
Very professional, brings whatever look you're going for to life. I asked for a soft and natural looking beat and she gave me just that. Really was a pleasure working with The LMU Artist. She's very pleasant. I will definitely be back.
For someone who doesn’t wear makeup that often I really enjoyed getting my makeup done by Angelique and I got so many compliments on my makeup after it was done. She is very professional and her technique is definitely one of the best that I have seen. I will definitely book her again and will be telling others about LMU!
