Love Plus One was on our wedding venue’s preferred vendors list, they were my first and only call… after speaking to them I immediately reserved them for the Date we needed. My Son and Daughter-In-Law then received a call from Alex (the DJ assigned to their wedding). Together they built a timeline of announcements, speech’s, special dances and dance music. The night was incredible and Alex had the dance floor packed the entire night!!!
Our DJ (Alex) was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they kept the energy high and made sure the dance floor was full all night long. They were so easy to work with, listened to our requests, and perfectly read the crowd to keep the music flowing. Beyond the music, they were such a huge help during the ups and downs of the night—keeping everything on track and making sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything ran so smoothly, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a DJ who truly makes your wedding unforgettable!
We were very lucky to have Love Plus One apart of our wedding day. From the beginning, the owner Darren was incredibly friendly, helpful, clear in explaining things, and eager to help. The process they use to ensure your DJ has all the information and music ideas they need is incredibly helpful. The communication was always clear. Our DJ, Phil, was absolutely spectacular! He was incredibly kind to all guests, was so go-with-the-flow, read the room amazingly, and kept the dancefloor packed all night! We could not have asked for a better DJ and company to work with - thank you for being a vital part of making our day so special and memorable, not just for us but our guests!
We were very particular about who we wanted for our entertainment- we knew the music and DJ skills could make or break our whole wedding experience. Our communication with Darren was very timely and professional, and he made sure we knew how Love Plus One is a step above the rest. He talked to us about their process and their online planner, which made selecting specific songs easy and gave song suggestions if you (like me) struggled to know exactly what song you should pick. The whole process was super straightforward which you can tell they do intentionally to help make the planning process less stressful. After our first call with Darren- we knew that Love Plus One was the best choice for us! We later talked to Vinnie (DJ Shortstop) who was our DJ for the wedding who was so fun and clearly LOVES his job and being in the wedding industry. He made sure all the details were correct--verifying that a certain version of a song we wanted wasn’t listed in the online planner and then finding a digital copy of it for us. We got compliment after compliment from our guests about how amazing the music was and how Vinnie kept the party going- some even danced all the way to the end of the night! Overall, Love Plus One exceeded our expectations and we absolutely recommend others to look into and book with them!
I found Love Plus One through the preferred vendor list at Detroit Foundation Hotel. My initial conversations were directly with the owner, Darren, who is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We met with our actual DJ who would be working our wedding the week prior to review all details. I was super happy with his MC/DJ capabilities for our Big Day! The dance floor was packed all night!
