I have been a client of Lucent Financial Planning for 15 years. Excellent service and advice.
We both took early retirement nearly 5 years ago, always a worrying and uncertain time, however from our first meeting with Steve and Luke at Lucent it was clear that we would be able to live the life we both really wanted. We were asked what our goals were and a plan was set in place that has made sure we achieve them and I can honestly say we have exceeded them. At our yearly planning meeting we decide what we want for the coming year and the most efficient tax plan is set in place. Luke is always available to give advice. Our investments seem to be going up faster than we can spend the money, the downside is that things can go down as quickly as they go up but the reassurance not to panic and let everything play out is what Lucent do best. No knee jerk reactions, we have full trust in the team at Lucent. I know our money is safe and Lucent are always looking to get us the best deal possible. Monthly emails are sent out offering advice and the chance to take part in one of their walk and talks, we always seem too busy to attend, at least at the moment however one day... We can't thank the whole team enough for everything they have done to make sure we live our retirement to the full. Thanks again Dave & Josie
We were introduced to Lucent through a mutual friend who spoke highly of their services. As we were approaching an age where we were considering a retirement plan and importantly when we could comfortably take that decision we felt that professional analysis and advice through a Company like Lucent would be the most prudent way to achieve our goals. Our initial meeting was an excellent no pressure experience and having provided them with all the relevant personal and financial details they required we received a comprehensive report detailing timelines to our retirement goal that we needed for peace of mind and to enable us to create a realistic pathway to achieve it. 18 months later we felt we were in a better position to pursue this pathway due to an unforeseen windfall and returned to Lucent for advice which they duly gave comprehensively and professionally with us and our family being at the forefront of their advice. We did not hesitate to sign up with them to manage our financial and retirement planning and have been nothing but impressed with their client focus and advice. Many thanks!
We’ve been Lucent clients since December 2021. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the ease of discussing “life” with Steve and the Team. Time was spent, really trying to understand what we wanted to do in life, and then working out how to do those things and being financially independent ie planning the point to finish work. Was a game changer to be honest. Lucent worked with us to develop a clear financial plan, which gave so much clarity on our position and meant we could make decisions about work. Our Lucent Chartered Financial Planner is Luke James. What a guy! He really takes time to understand our needs. He’s really down to earth, very knowledgeable and clear speaking. Just what we need! We have regular reviews with Luke, and he’s on hand any time to work with us. Lucent has a great culture and ethos. Whilst money is a serious business, the Team have a great sense of fun, and really care about their clients. Social events are organised, such a seminars, Summer BBQ, monthly walks/ rambles and guest speakers. Which reminds me, if you do speak to Luke, ask him about the time he interviewed Frank Bruno. Two legends on one stage!
