Lyon Road Art got me back into painting as an adult! On a whim, I took a beginner watercolor class with Kaitlin (and a few more to follow) and felt so inspired to keep creating. She is a fantastic, talented teacher and the studio is warm, welcoming, and clean. We later hosted my daughter's 7th birthday with Cole. They drew dogs, and the kids all really enjoyed it. Cole is so wonderful at helping kids let their imagination GO!
We recently celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday at Lyon Road Art, and it was the perfect party! Kaitlin was fantastic with the girls, guiding them through a fun watercolor project. She was patient, encouraging, and made sure everyone felt successful. The girls had a blast and went home with artwork they were really proud of. I highly recommend Lyon Road Art for a creative and memorable party experience!
Our sweet 9 year old girl has taken Kaitlin's Pen & Ink Illustration class as well as a kids acrylic paint class. She LOVES her classes, learns so much & is really proud of what she creates. As a parent, I find great comfort and joy that she's being supported in a positive environment learning technical skills. 10/10 would recommend ANY and ALL classes with Kaitlin!
Kaitlin is an absolute pleasure to learn from! I’ve taken 2 of her watercolor classes and enjoyed my time immensely. I started as a true beginner and felt confident and enjoyed using watercolor after taking her classes. She provides the right amount of instruction and support while also letting you explore and express your own creativity and style. I will definitely be back to take more of her classes and hope to get my child enrolled in some as well!
Kaitlin is an excellent teacher. Despite not having used watercolors since grade school, I ended up with two paintings I am proud of. The class has inspired me to paint on my own, and I'm taking additional classes from Kaitlin in the future.
