Great people...great ART! They produced exactly what I was looking for and the (large!) canvas was perfect!
This gallery is a true gem ! Diana is a gifted artist as well as those she represents. Her staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. My brother and I spent an enjoyable afternoon visiting, then returned the next day. I will be happy to recommend this gallery to family and friends.
Madaras Gallery has everything - from affordable gifts to original works by local artists, and everything in between. Everyone at the Gallery was friendly and helpful, and Mackenzie knew her inventory so well that she was able to produce a framed giclee on canvas when I wished aloud that the "Art's Siesta" print was larger. She even wrapped it securely in cardboard to carry on my flight. Now it hangs above where my guitar gently sleeps. Since I was traveling, the other painting I had to have was perfect in a print. When I got home and took it to Michaels for framing, I found a purple mat that brought out all the subtle shades of violet and gray in the soft shadows of "Walk in Sabino." I so appreciate Diana Madaras for offering stunning originals alongside super high quality prints for those of us on a tighter budget.
These huge framed canvas prints have brought a welcome burst of color and a sense of the outdoors to our entry area. Friends say it feels like they're looking out a couple of big windows. The desert images are lovely, and the framing is flawless. The gallery staff recommended Fred Soto to hang the canvases, and we couldn't be more grateful for his expertise and careful attention to a challenging installation. Plus, he and his assistant were delightful!
After many years admiring Diana's work, we finally purchased a painting. I'm not a person who frequents galleries--frankly, I find them a little intimidating. I didn't feel that way when we stepped into Madaras Gallery. Laurie, who greeted us, was available for questions and was clearly enthused about the artists. She was helpful when we made our selection and made us aware of the sale that was happening that day. We're very happy with our purchase and experience
