Jack identifies my geothermal heating issue and got the system running again-very important in the cold weather! Very polite and professional. Scheduling through the office was also easy.
We were told something minor was wrong with our furnace but the cost was insane, so we decided to get another quote and called Major. They found what the actual problem was, got the part taken care of under manufacturers warranty, and fixed it properly for us(still paid labor but not too bad, I’d say average). Knowledgeable and did a great job. Also appreciate being aware of not letting our 2 little pups out while he went in and out.
I would like to thank Major Heating & Air for addressing our no heat situation so quickly. Jack was the service technician, and he was just wonderful. Jack was patient, kind, respectful, and worked meticulously. He very obviously wanted to ensure that the system was set up safely and functioning well for us. Jack indicated that while experienced, he has recently started working at Major. Excellent hire! You guys are fortunate to have Jack! He seems to be very dedicated to his work, and delivered impeccable customer service! Thank you!
Incompetent - Dishonest - Overpriced. We were buying a house and had Major inspect the geothermal system. Their work was very disappointing. INCOMPETENT - they did not check the system pressure, for which there are 4 gauges on our system and we found the pressure at 0(!) when we took possession of the house soon after their inspection. See attached inspection report from Major saying everything is "normal". Their tech later confirmed to me that the pressure was "missed" by an inexperienced tech who completed the inspection. DISHONEST - The tech that visited my house soon after we took possession (and it was obvious to us something was wrong), provided a service estimate of $4100. When I asked the service manager, Chase, how they can reconcile an inspection saying everything is good and follow up with $4100 worth of necessary work, he lied and insisted it makes sense. See repair estimate attached. OVERPRICED - Seeing how dishonest and incompetent Major was, I hired another firm and they provided an estimate for the same service at a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps save someone else the frustration and disappointment we experienced with Major. I wrote and called hoping they would take some responsibility but Chase was not interested.
Can not say a negative thing about these guys. The professionalism from start to finish was stellar. Travis - The project manager met me, and the customer explained his scope of work, prepared his bid in a timely fashion, and was awarded the job. His pricing was very competitive and very detailed. Major Heating gave a scheduled time, and the day before and after received a text message. The day of the installation Travis met, his crew lined them up with their task, and they proceeded with the installation. During the installation, they demonstrated professionalism above and beyond. Would highly recommend these guys. Thank you, Major Heating.
