Pooja and her team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. They did all of my looks—and my sister’s—for the entire wedding week. We had multiple check-ins leading up to the wedding where we thoughtfully walked through every outfit, piece of jewelry, and hair and makeup look. It was such a collaborative, seamless, and genuinely fun process. My sister and I not only loved every single look, but we also loved the energy the team brought—from early morning wake-up calls to late-night touch-ups. They truly made the week feel special.
I hired Makiaj Beauty for my wedding and, unfortunately, would not recommend them. The pricing suggests a luxury service, but the overall experience did not match the cost. You are required to pay in full before your trial, and while you can choose to keep the same artist afterward, the trial gives you a clear preview of what you’ll get on your wedding day. At my trial, I wasn’t fully happy with the results but was already committed because they don’t offer refunds. Instead, they offered to “donate” my payment toward another bride, which felt unprofessional. I adjusted my assigned stylist twice before the wedding trying to find a better fit. On the wedding day, my makeup was initially very orange. When I mentioned it, I was told it looked fine, but my bridal party disagreed. I asked for it to be redone, and to her credit, the artist did fix it and the makeup lasted through the day. However, for the price, I expected a higher level of skill, awareness, and professionalism from the start. Gina, who worked on my bridal party, was wonderful and ended up redoing several of the other makeups so everyone looked great in the end. Still, the experience overall did not reflect the quality or service level I expected. If you’re considering Makiaj Beauty, I’d recommend exploring independent artists or ensuring you’re booking directly with someone whose work you’ve seen and truly trust.
I am so grateful for the team for making me feel absolutely unreal my wedding weekend❤️❤️ I really feel like it was fate that we were able to connect and I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding hair and makeup artist. The Makiaj team has such a level of expertise where even without a trial, they knew exactly the looks that would blend perfectly with each outfit. I not only felt more beautiful than I have ever felt, but also Pooja made me feel valued, relaxed, and the best version of myself for my wedding weekend - and I feel like that is what made me glow inside out. They were not just artists, but truly there for me in so many ways and I will never forget that ❤️ Thank you so so much for everything!
I had the most incredible experience with Makiaj Beauty for my wedding day, and I can't recommend them enough! Diamond did my hair, and it was absolutely flawless—she completely brought my vision to life, and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. Diana did my makeup, and I received so many compliments on how stunning it looked all day. I literally can't believe how amazing everything turned out—my bridal party and I felt like total queens! The entire team was professional, talented, and made me feel so at ease. I'm beyond grateful for the beautiful work they did to make my special day even more unforgettable!

She was such a joy to work with! She did my bridal trial, bridal shower and wedding day hair and makeup! She made me feel like the most beautiful bride, truly made my dreams come true! Makiaj Beauty made the entire process so seamless and were so easy to work with! Amazing customer service! Cannot recommend them enough!
