By the time I reached Dr. Dauer - I had essentially lost all hope for my hair. I had tried expensive PRP treatments, oral medications, and other topicals. Additionally, I consulted with different hair transplant groups in LA who told me they were ready to operate asap. However, I decided to get a second opinion that ended up changing everything. I met with Dr. Dauer expecting the same hair transplant speech - but what I got instead was a provider who actually cares about his patients and their outcomes. On examination, he explained that my hair could still be saved and introduced me to his topical serum called Hair Defense. Still skeptical, I decided to try it. After around 10 months of consistent use - I have near complete coverage on my scalp and significant improvement in my hair line. These results are all from one free consultation with Dr. Dauer and following a prescribed regimen. He could have easily tried to sell or pressure me on the issue of a transplant like other places I had visited, but he did not. People notice the difference and ask me what I am doing and I am always thrilled to share with them the outstanding experience I have had working with Dr. Dauer’s practice. As time passed, my hair loss progressed, and I became deeply saddened and depressed about my appearance. I dreaded looking at pictures of myself it was painful to see the change. This went on for almost two years before I finally decided to return to Dr. Dauer and his incredible assistant, Laura. Even on the day of the procedure, I was still scared and asked Laura, “Are you sure this will work?” Without hesitation, she said, “Of course!” Then Dr. Dauer looked me straight in the eye and told me, “You are going to DIG IT!” Now, just seven months later, the transformation has been nothing short of remarkable truly! My confidence is back, I feel like myself again, and I’m thrilled with the natural results. Dr. Dauer is more than just a skilled surgeon, he is kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients. That combination of expertise and heart made all the difference for me. This wasn’t just a cosmetic change it has been a meaningful, life-changing experience, and I am so grateful.
Dr. Marc Dauer and his team were exceptional -- there are NOT enough stars to give them -- they took great care of my mom when she went for her eyebrow transplant. Not only did the results look fantastic, but the team was also detail oriented, friendly and was certain to make her feel comfortable with the procedure. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a hair or eyebrow transplant.
It has been 15 + years since I have left a review for anything. Dr. Dauer and his staff have broken that streak due to the incredible experience I had. I am a 50 year old healthy active male that was losing most of my hair when after a lot of careful research I decided to setup a consult with Dr. Dauer at his Los Angeles office. Before the consult I had already made up my mind to go through with a hair restoration surgery – just not sure which actual procedure or surgeon. The consultant with Dr. Dauer was more like having an informed conversation with an old friend. Dr.Dauer walked me through the basics of the procedure and then his specific vision of my procedure. He spoke of his surgical work as his artistic expression of what should look correct for each patient – that really resonated with me. I in no way felt rushed or pressured to make a decision one way or the other. I’ve always found when someone is truly good at what they do, no pressure is necessary, and this was certainly the case with Dr Dauer. I decided at his office to schedule my procedure. I was fortunate and a client had cancelled while I was standing there, and I was able to get that date which was less than a week. The surgery was done at the Los Angeles office – not having to go to a separate surgical center was very convenient. I was awake the whole time with only local anesthetic shots in the beginning. From there on out I really didn’t feel much. The next point is hard for me to articulate correctly but here it goes – the entire staff from the time you walk in the door to the entire surgical staff are outstanding working together as a team like I have rarely seen. During the procedure every member of the surgical team including Dr. Dauer are talking to you, checking on you, and simply talking with you about whatever you like to make the time go by. I was incredibly impressed that during the entire procedure each member of the team had a clearly defined role and never stopped working or even slowing down once. The team worked together like the inner workings of a fine Swiss watch – like I said, very hard for me to completely describe. The procedure went by very quick. At the end I felt fine. Went home, ate a normal meal and slept fine. I am only 14 days out from my procedure, but the healing so far has been very easy. I am at the point now where I can do anything with my hair like use gel, get haircuts etc., Equally as important there are no red marks, scars, or anything else that would suggest I had surgery other than I now have the beginnings of a hairline again and my crown shows signs that it will fill in again. Truth be told I am absolutely blown away from the early results in only two weeks in. My hair somehow looks subtly different yet totally different in the best possible way. This is the artistry that Dr. Dauer was talking about during the consult, I am so grateful I placed my trust with the correct surgeon.
I searched for an eyebrow hair transplant for 2 years. I tattooed my eyebrow's many moons back and had hated them ever since. I came across Dr. Dauer a year before I decided to make an apt. I was hesitant because I reside Dallas, TX and he's in Beverly Hills. I am not going to make this long. The entire staff was amazing. Special thanks to Brenda, Dr. Dauer's asst. No regrets here. Dr. Dauer is an amazing persona very caring and very professional. I am not photogenic and also I need to trim my eyebrow's. It’s been a yr now (6-2018) since my hair transplant and I wanted to show how amazing they're growing. I will try and post better pictures later but for now all Thank you, Dr. Dauer! ****UPDATE Its been 4 yrs now (6-2021) and I am still loving my result. Pic w/back was taken in May 2021. Its a little hard to see eyebrows but I am loving my eyebrow implant.
