I am giving this a mixed review. we were so excited to find a meal prep place that seemed to have a lot of options. We have had a couple of things which were pretty good, including some kind of chicken and risotto and a couple desserts. We also had the chicken fried steak meal for four with sides, and a different time, some of the gyoza dumplings. I heated the chicken fried steak separately in the oven per their website instructions, on the oven for one family member was home and put the rest in the fridge. Heated the rest later. I kid you not, the whole house smelled greasy and not great. I had to open windows and turn on fans to try to air out the kitchen. The same thing happened when we heated the gyoza, except this time someone put it in the microwave rather than the oven. The whole microwave and kitchen did not smell great and I had to clean out the microwave, air out the kitchen, and clean all the surfaces. Maybe these particular items are just odorous, but the whole point of heat and eat foods to me is a break from the norm of cooking, not having to mess up and then clean the kitchen every night for every meal. I am disappointed.
I love their meal prep but was completely blown away by the chocolate birthday cake I ordered for my husbands birthday! Everyone was raving! Thank you for making his night special
Just had a few different dishes at a wedding they were catering! Absolutely delicious ! Bacon lollipop ?!? Sushi ( I don’t even like sushi) and mini tacos ….evening was delicious !
Marcona Kitchen is just fabulous! Their family meals have been a lifesaver for our family of four (with two kiddos under the age of three). It feels like we have our own private chef making creative, balanced, delicious meals for us! Our toddler loves them, and there’s plenty of options to introduce new foods to our baby for baby-led weaning, too. The portions are generous, and we always have enough for leftovers and/or guests. Don’t even get me started on their desserts. Just wow. The only thing better than the food is the service! The team is so friendly and makes ordering and pick up a breeze. My only regret is not trying this place sooner! DO NOT SLEEP ON MARCONA KITCHEN!
Friends of ours recommend Marcona Kitchen months ago and I cannot believe I’m just now stopping in!! Not only was the customer service so delightful, the food, OMG!!! We tried what was recommended (quad salads and Alfredo Pasta and, I grabbed a cupcake because why not) all I can say is soooo, soooo good! Can’t wait to try more dishes and share with others about the greatness that is Marcona Kitchen!! Chef’s kiss!
