The instructors and the program here are absolutely amazing. Everyone from the instructors to the assistants does a great job with the students. Our 6 and 4 year olds love attending the classes and have a blast each and every time. The way that the classes incorporate fun activities with teaching the skills is a joy to watch every time. And as a bonus, the additional focus on behavioral skills has really helped our boys flourish.
Our 6 year old daughter joined in September and loves it. Every class is instructional mixed with fun. They pride themselves on teaching the art of Taekwondo, respect, integrity and fun. I'd highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a martial arts class
Master Bang’s Martial Arts has completely changed our lives for the better. Staying in Bakersfield is worth it just for this place alone. The incredible guidance from Grand Master Bang, Master Smith, Master Sons, and Master Bang, Instructor Gina & the whole awesome leadership team has helped my neurodivergent 10 year old son so much with his behavior and confidence. Their unique mix of structure, discipline, and fun creates an environment where kids and adults alike truly thrive, and I am forever grateful for everything they do to these amazing kids. It all started in June 2023 when we got our son Aidan who has autism into another sport. We were skeptical at first and didn't know if it would work out. And after two years my son is now a green belt. What broke me was when Master Sons one of the lead instructors we told him that our son has mild autism and that be an issue. And he told me "That doesn't matter we are going to be with him every step of the way and help him.". .. I broke in tears and these people have several kids on the spectrum and are doing very well some are even black belts. My son has grown so much since he started and now he loves it and competes despite his disability he is along for the ride and will continue in this sport. I encourage any family out there with a child on the spectrum to join its a great experience for them to learn discipline, growth, personal development, and overall well-being. Aidan also does swimming alongside Taekwondo he loves both it has helped him grow up. The instructors are so patient with my son and know his disabilities but they work with him and make adjustments if needed they are good people who care about all kids disabilities or not.
Master Bang’s Martial Arts is an amazing school that will teach you or your child important life skills. Grand Master Bang and the other Masters are very kind, helpful and supportive. I am so lucky to train at Tae Ryong and recommend it to anyone who is interested. I promise it will be one of the best decisions you ever make and I know that it is one of mine!
