Enrolling our son at Master Shim’s Taekwondo has been one of the best choices we’ve made since moving to AZ 3 years ago. Our son has gained confidence, discipline, respect, courage, and leadership skills that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful to have stumbled upon the studio and will forever be thankful for all growth that Master Shim had fostered in our son.
Master Shim’s is amazing!! So glad we signed our daughter up for their classes! She is loving it! It’s awesome to watch her concentration, focus, strength, and confidence grow so much! Thank you Master Shim and Miss Emma for being such great instructors and people!!
Master Shim’s Tae Kwon Do is such a great place! Master Jaesop Shim is a great instructor and Emma is so kind! Master Shin is able to instruct in a firm and yet kind way. He has taught our five year that she is strong and capable of doing hard things. Most importantly her confidence has grown since starting just a few short months ago. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching our daughter learn Tae Kwon Do and highly recommend Master Shim’s!
We've had an amazing experience at Master Shim's Tae Kwon Do studio! My son has grown so much in confidence, discipline, and focus since he started here. Master Shim, Miss Emma, and the other instructors, are not only highly skilled, but also incredibly patient and encouraging. They truly care about each student's progress both on and off the mat. The environment is respectful, motivating, and family-friendly. I'm so grateful for the life lessons and values my son is learning here. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a positive martial arts experience for their child!
Master Shim gives fantastic, encouraging instruction and is great with all levels from young kids to adult/family. I returned to TKD as a black belt in my early 30s, and of the four martial arts schools I've attended, MSTKD stands above. The workout is great and the owners create a real sense of family! I will miss this school immensely when we move out of the area.
