Mathnasium has been very helpful. My child needed a refresher on some Algebra 1 concepts since Geometry class occurs in-between the 1st level and 2nd level classes. During the short time period that she's been attending Mathnasium, her confidence level and grades have improved in Algebra 2 significantly. I appreciate the methodical approach of going back to the basics and support current work. It had been challenging to find a personal tutor in the middle of a semester. So I didn't have to search any longer and tutor sessions are easy to book.
Excellent and productive schedule to get my children on track for expected grade level skills. Since the pandemic, the grade inflation at public schools is noticeable and I’ve had a hard time assessing whether or not my kids mastered the skills required, or simply were allowed to take a test multiple times. I now have confidence relative to their skill level based on the assessment updates I receive. Further, having a space for homework is excellent. In two days/week there is enough time for homework help and extra practice.
Our boys have loved coming to Mathnasium from the very first day! I believe Mathnasium has greatly helped their confidence and focus in their math studies both at home and at school. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and kind; our kids adore them all.
Mathnasium has been such a fantastic organization for my children. They look forward to their weekly sessions and always leave excited to share the new math skills they worked on that day. Their math abilities have advanced tremendously and they are more confident in their ability to learn new concepts and work through difficult equations thanks to the skills they've learned at Mathnasium. The teachers are top-notch: brilliant and patient while creating individualized learning plans for kids of all skill levels. They also provide tremendous feedback, and are flexible in working to meet the goals set forth by parents and kids alike. We are so lucky to have this resource in my neighborhood!Julie, Pittsburgh
