After deciding to move to a senior living facility my husband and I chose to work with Maya’s Design Studio to help with our new space. We were combining two spaces next to each other and that offered not only more space but challenges and unknowns. All the changes were met with optimism by Maya and her team. Decisions were made to go around, up and over immovable objects - of which there were many - to reach a workable solution. Maya always offered a realistic and doable way forward. The end the result is very pleasing. A wonderful small nook for musing, lovely floor to ceiling bookcases for not only books but for many of my collections. And closets made workable! A few new pieces of furniture were needed and Maya offered excellent choices for consideration. We are very happy with our new living space and also with our relationship with Maya. She and her team have met all of our expectations. It is an extra bonus to know and become friends with Maya along the way.

From start to finish, the entire process was handled with the highest level of professionalism. The project was completed on time, on budget, and completely turnkey, which made the experience stress-free on my end. She truly managed every detail, overseeing the entire project from concept to completion, coordinating vendors, timelines, and execution seamlessly. Communication was excellent throughout—questions were answered promptly, updates were clear, and I always felt confident the project was in great hands. The final result exceeded my expectations, and the after photos truly speak for themselves. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer who delivers exceptional results while making the process smooth and efficient.
Maya helped us with combining of two apartments at Grand Living at the Grove. She managed the whole process of permitting, design, and construction. We couldn’t be more pleased. Outstanding results and great communication throughout the entire process. O
Maya is a brilliant designer. She has a ton of experience and education in the world of design. I’ve toured several properties she has done the design work on and was quite impressed. She also works closely with certain retailers so that as a client, you’ll get a better deal than if you just went randomly through a furniture store and bought. She also has reasonably priced consultations so that you can get the idea if she’s right for you. I love how much passion she has for her job and clients. She’s great to respond quickly during office hours and is incredibly professional. She also told me that she designs commercial spaces. Super nice lady!
I had the pleasure of partnering with Maya on a $1.3M listing in Austin that needed some updates before hitting the market. From the start, Maya brought her sharp eye for design, She selected colors and materials that elevated the home beautifully. What really set her apart, though, was her ability to execute. She coordinated her own crews to get the work done, and the results were high quality, on time, and affordable. The transformation added real value, and the home showed incredibly well. I’d gladly work with her again.
